Unknown Executive
executiveIf there is any question on the financial statements or on the figures in front of you, we are happy to reply.
Unknown Analyst
analystThis is [indiscernible] from [ Orion ] Investment. I have a couple of questions, but let me just start with the first one. Could you give us some color in terms of the -- what trends are you seeing for each of your insurance segment? And in terms of pricing, volume as well as claims, how -- what are the trends like in the first half? And what do you see in the second half?
Unknown Executive
executiveI think if I understand your question, you are asking about the trends of our of our premium and claims and what?
Unknown Analyst
analystAnd volume, pricing and volume.
Unknown Executive
executivePricing and volume. Yes, please, please.
Unknown Analyst
analystIf you can start with medical insurance and followed by general accidents and also motor, please.
Unknown Executive
executiveTo be honest with you, the technical side, the pricing of the motor, of the medical and general and the accident, please.
Unknown Executive
executiveAs Mr. -- what's your name again, sorry?
Unknown Analyst
analyst[indiscernible]
Unknown Executive
executiveYes. Well, as you know, most of the main clients of the insurance companies, usually, they do their insurance in the beginning of the year. Most of it comes in the first quarter. In terms of volume, we expect -- I mean, as you know, with the current events and all to be affected, but not as much as we thought of because of the reasons I told you, most of the booking volume is on the Q1. In terms of claims and the effect of the closure of Hormuz and the inflation and so it's like we don't -- we did not -- it was not affected during the first half. How would it be affected in the second half? This is a question that -- I mean, we wish to have someone who can answer this correctly.
Unknown Analyst
analystBut -- are you exposed to the claims [indiscernible].
Unknown Executive
executiveNo, no. Not at all. For one reason, it's because we don't finance -- I mean, we don't insurance -- we don't insure wars and war damages, neither our reinsurance.
Unknown Analyst
analystOkay. Sounds good. And what about...
Unknown Executive
executiveTo answer you in a way where you, like, give you a good answer is basically if you are worried about damages of the -- with the -- like, regarding the circumstances, there will be none. The only effect that we might -- as an insurance company, ourselves or our competitors would be the effect of inflation if it catches up. The only risk that we see for this year at least.
Unknown Analyst
analystSorry, could you repeat what is the risk, the second part that you are saying?
Unknown Executive
executiveI'm saying, like, the risk that we are -- we might face as an insurance company in Qatar today would be restricted to inflation.
Unknown Analyst
analystOkay, inflation. All right.
Unknown Executive
executiveIn terms of, like, the availability of parts and how are they affected by the extra shipping routes that they're taking. And so forth. Other than that, for 2026, I think everything might remain -- yes, we expect it to remain the same until the end of the year.
Unknown Analyst
analystOkay. Are you seeing any challenges in terms of pricing, in terms of competition? How is competition like?
Unknown Executive
executiveHow is competition?
Unknown Analyst
analystYes. Are you affected by aggressive competition that affects your pricing? Is there anything on that?
Unknown Executive
executiveCompetition [indiscernible].
Unknown Executive
executiveI think the competition is very high in the next half because of many factors, one of them as the geopolitical situation, as you know, and also the cutting cost from the general sector and the companies, the local companies. So there will be high competition in the next -- in the next half of the year.
Unknown Analyst
analystI see. All right. And one question on -- that I have is on Seha. Are you expected to benefit from the rollout of Seha if it comes?
Unknown Executive
executiveTo be honest, in the circumstances, we are expecting to postpone the Seha program -- Seha scheme.
Unknown Analyst
analystYou mean you think the Seha program will be postponed?
Unknown Executive
executiveYes. Yes, yes. Yes. Implementing it will not be before the end of the next year. This is my own expectation.
Unknown Analyst
analystI see. All right. Okay. And just one more question on your other income because I can see that your other income is quite volatile. May I know what's in your other income in your P&L?
Unknown Executive
executiveThere is a problem...
Unknown Analyst
analystSorry, can you hear me now?
Unknown Executive
executiveCan you repeat the question, the last question, please?
Unknown Analyst
analystYes. On the other income, I can see that it's quite volatile. May I know what's in the other income?
Unknown Executive
executiveUsually, other incomes are related to disputes and claims that goes back and forth between the -- like, with the cases with courts and...
Unknown Executive
executiveThe recovery from the court.
Unknown Analyst
analystI see. Okay.
Unknown Executive
executiveIt comes -- yes, the recovery.
Unknown Analyst
analystAnd this is one-off, right? It's not expected to continue? Yes. This other income is expected to be one-off?
Unknown Executive
executiveThe item is always there on the financials [ history ]. It's just that the difference in numbers comes according to the court cases related to it.
Unknown Executive
executiveIs there any other questions, gentlemen? If there is no question, we will consider the conference finished and thanking you for attending our conference presentation. Thank you very much. Thank you.
