Catherine Creswell
executiveGood morning. We have the first question. What do you have available in the credit market in case Alexander's needs additional funding?
Steven Roth
executiveWe do not have a line of credit. We do have several unfinanced assets that we could finance, one of which, in fact, the apartment house in Rego that we are in the market to finance now. By the way, we do have $450 million of cash balances as well. Next question, please.
Catherine Creswell
executiveHow is Alexander's preparing in advance for the second wave of this pandemic?
Steven Roth
executiveThat's a very difficult question. I mean -- I guess we're preparing in the same way that we have prepared for the first wave and are continuing to operate our business, which is our properties are open. They are safe. They are secure. They are being sterilized. Our tenants are, in most respects, paying rent. And we are also safeguarding our very few employees. Next question, please.
Catherine Creswell
executiveHave your top 4 shareholders spoken to management and offered any constructive advice on what to do? Or is this a playbook that is unfamiliar to them and, therefore, there are no solutions or remedies?
Steven Roth
executiveOur top shareholders -- our largest shareholders are Vornado and the partners of Interstate Properties. And obviously, we talk continuously all the time about the business affairs of Alexander's. Next question, please.
Catherine Creswell
executiveWill remote working and social distancing take a long-term toll on the company?
Steven Roth
executiveThe answer to that is we have 2 categories of real estate. We have office, which is basically the Bloomberg building, which is tenanted by Bloomberg L.P., a very large and important financial services company, and they basically are -- they operate that property. It's under long-term lease. And whether their employees work from home or work from the office, that's in their discretion. The balance of our properties are retail properties, which deal with the shopping public on a day-to-day basis. Next question, please.
Catherine Creswell
executiveHow many shareholders are attending the virtual meeting? And will you hold a virtual meeting next year?
Steven Roth
executiveI can't predict the -- our preference, obviously, is to hold an in-person meeting as we and all public companies have done for decades and decades. How many -- does anybody know how many attendees we have on this virtual meeting, please?
Alan Rice
executive25.
Steven Roth
executiveSo we have 25 shareholders, which is not -- it's not unlike what the -- not like the audience that we get in an in-person meeting. Next question, please.
Catherine Creswell
executiveMr. Roth, what previous events in history -- or the history of real estate will guide you through this pandemic?
Steven Roth
executiveThis is totally unique, totally new. There has never been a case in my lifetime where everything has been shut down. I'm not talking about business conditions slowing, I'm talking about shutdown. And so there's no precedent for this in terms of business conditions. The response on the part of governments, whether it be the state governments, the city governments or the enormous liquidity that the federal government has supplied to the economy is also unprecedented. And so we are sort of in unique times, doing the best we can. Our balance sheet is strong, which is essential and we will get through this. Next question, please. By the way, just as -- I hope I don't ever have to live through something like this again.
Catherine Creswell
executiveThere are no further questions at this time.
Steven Roth
executiveCathy, thank you. The polls are now closed. According to the preliminary report of Broadridge Financial Solutions, Inc., the results are as follows: first, each of the nominees for election as director has received at least a plurality of all the votes cast on this matter. Accordingly, the nominees have been duly elected directors of Alexander's, Inc. to serve until the annual meeting of stockholders in 2023 and until their respective successors are duly elected and qualified. Second, the ratification of the selection of Deloitte & Touche LLP as the company's independent registered public accounting firm with regard to the current fiscal year has been approved. Third, the nonbinding advisory resolution on executive compensation has been approved. The final tabulation will be reported in a Form 8-K within 4 days. No notice of any additional business having been given pursuant to Alexander's bylaws, is there a motion to adjourn?
Joseph Macnow
executiveMr. Chairman, Joseph -- I, Joseph Macnow, move that this meeting be adjourned.
Matthew Iocco
executiveMr. Chairman, I, Matthew Iocco, second the motion.
Steven Roth
executiveThank you. The meeting is adjourned. I might just add that normally, we have some refreshments and pastries after the meeting, while in this case, obviously, we cannot provide that courtesy. We would hope to see you next year in person. Thank you, everybody, for attending.
