Crystal Woods
executiveOkay. So our webinar this morning is going to run about 50 minutes. We're going to leave about 10 minutes at the end with Q&A if we have time. Melissa's going to do a live demo, so we're going to try and get through all of that, that we can go -- get through today. Everybody is on mute, and your cameras are off, but we'd love to have your questions. So if you don't mind typing them in the Q&A box. We will answer them at the end of the webinar. And if we don't have a chance to answer your question, we will make sure to reach out to you afterwards. We're going to be recording the webinar today, and the reference materials will be sent out shortly after the webinar upon completion of a quick survey. So you'll receive an e-mail from myself, along with the survey. Thank you, thanking you for joining. And then we'd love to get your feedback to see how we did, or possibly, if we didn't get any -- answer any questions that you had, as well as there is going to be details on our upcoming webinars and more detail -- more information that might be needed. So again, thank you for joining us, and I'm happy to introduce our speaker for today. So Melissa Reyna, she is our Customer Solutions Technology Manager for the West Coast. Melissa is based in our San Francisco -- San Diego office, excuse me, and she's been with Expeditors for 12 years, 7 of those years in her current position. So without further delay, we're going to let this get started, and I'm going to turn it over to Melissa.
Melissa Reyna
executiveThank you so much, Crystal. Good morning and good afternoon to everyone who's joining us today. First of all, thank you for taking the time to join our webinar this Thursday. We are very excited and happy to have you here. We're going to show you -- basically a walk-through of our main tracking and tracing tools. So this is kind of like the agenda of the topics that we're going to be covering. We're going to start off with what is EXP.O NOW, right? We're going to talk about what you are able to do within our portal, the functionality that is available. Then we're going to jump into the actual demo into our actual website and walk you through every single piece of functionality on there. Okay. Then we're going to come back to the presentation. I'll go over some of the stuff that we are looking forward to releasing later this year. And thank you for your time. Okay?
Crystal Woods
executiveDo you want me to share the results with you real quick? I can end the poll, so you can see those.
Melissa Reyna
executiveYes. All right. So thank you, everyone, for answering these questions. This is good. Okay. Cool. All right. So let's go ahead and start. So what is EXP.O NOW? So EXP.O NOW is a brand-new version of our tracking and tracing portal. Over the course of 40 years that we've been in business, we've had, for the majority of the time, a website where you can go and track your shipments, right? I believe the very first time we had our website live was around 1995, 1996. I wasn't in the industry. Unfortunately, I was still in school, but I got to see a preview of what that website looked like. And we've come a long way. And it's been great to see that version of what came out first and what we have out there for you guys today. So our tracking and tracing portal is our most tactical tool. This tool is meant to benefit all of you, right? Even in our day to day, for example, when you shop online, as soon as you get that e-mail that says, "Your order has been shipped." And they give you a tracking number. What do we do? We immediately click on it, even though we know nothing is going to show up there because they barely sent us that e-mail a minute ago. We click on it, and then a website opens up, and it says, "Labels have been created, or maybe, package is on its way to FedEx or UPS or whoever -- whatever company they're using to ship our goods." And then maybe a couple of days later, we come back. We haven't heard from them. The package has not arrived to our house. And then we go back and check, and it's still in transit. And maybe a week goes by, and we still haven't had that package delivered, we go in there and guess what, package is lost, right? And there are some websites that do allow you to set up alerts that go to your phone or via e-mail, so that you can receive those status updates, right? So the same thing in our industry. Same thing. Visibility is something that everyone can benefit from. Everyone will want to know, where their freight is at any given point, right? It is also very important because you guys most likely make business decisions based on this. So you're going to decide whether you need additional labor, whether you have the enough space on the warehouse to the receive the amount of containers that are arriving, or they are not going to arrive this week, but next week, right? So there are important decisions that are made based on the information that you can pull from our website. So we believe data is just as important as freight, right? Because of that -- because you're going to take that information and use it to make important business decisions that are going to impact profitability, space, cost, et cetera, okay? So we build this website thinking of that, thinking of the feedback that we've received from you, in regards to what you want to see and what your requirements are for your day-to-day operations. You're going to be able to do a lot of things within our website, not just tracking. You'll be able to download reports, set up alerts, but then also create reports, run them and schedule those reports as well, right? So I saw the results on the poll. About half of you already have access to EXP.O NOW. So that's great. And then there were others that had access to our previous portal, just our previous portal, but not EXP.O NOW. So I would encourage you to go in and self-register for those users of our old website, which is still live, and we will continue to have it up and running, while we migrate all the business functionality that we have on there. So then you take a look at EXP.O NOW and start using it. Start getting familiar with it. This is going to be our new tracking and tracing portal for the long run. So let's get ourselves commotized with that, okay? So then in order to register with access, if you haven't done so, you can do that through our website, at expeditors.com. You are able to self-register. For those of you who have -- already have an account in our legacy portal, that's our old Expo visibility, track and trace website, you still have to sign up to EXP.O NOW as if you were a brand-new user, okay? Both of your accounts will be connected automatically, and you will have the same level of access. If you are new to EXP.O NOW and you do not have an account with our old website, then you will still self-register. You'll still be able to do that. You will be granted guest access. Just let us know, and it will be very easy for us to just flip the switch and switch that guest access to full access. Just make sure that you contact your local representative so that they can do that for you, okay? Once you do that, you will -- once you self-registered, you will receive a link to this, and you'll be able to start using EXP.O NOW right away, okay. Okay. All right. Now what is available in EXP.O NOW? What are you going to be able to do, if you haven't done so already? So when it comes to tracking and tracing, this is super important, you're going to be able to get or view, get access to status updates. You're going to be able to see every step that we take to process every single shipment, from when we receive the booking request, when we receive an e-mail that says, "We have freight for you guys. It's going this way. It's going to this location," from that point on until the services are completed. Not all of the shipments that we handle are shipments that we deliver all the way to the door. We don't always handle the transportation either. Sometimes we're just a Custom's broker. In those cases, this website will also give you access to Custom's details and customs documentation, okay? It will also give you access to global data. If your company has activity with Expeditors in other locations other than where you are at this moment, you will also be able to see them. We have the ability to segregate or isolate activity within our portal, based on different business units, different locations. So if your business right now -- or your work is only related to the business that is handled in the U.S. and not necessarily the Europe portion, we can separate those 2 types of activities, so you can only focus on the stuff that really matters to you. Again, for any of those type of requests, please make sure that you reach to your local representatives. And then when it comes to reporting, we have a few options there. You are able to run reports on current activity. So anything that's out there, anything that's in transit, that is set to arrive soon, or that historical data, stuff that already happened, shipments that have been delivered, shipments that were delivered last month, shipments that were delivered last week. And then also exception management, right? Shipments that work on front, on board or are set to be in transit since last month, but haven't been delivered. So you only focus on the ones that have not hit your door, or maybe arrived, but not delivered, stuff that has been sitting at the port for a few days. So that type of visibility will allow you to focus on what matters and what requires some sort of attention on your end, okay? So tactical reports in regards to current activity, exception management reports, but also historical data, right? Now one thing to note here is that EXP.O NOW will only host 120 days' worth of transportation data, okay? So anything related to pick up milestones, arrival delivery, all those things are only available online for 120 days after the shipment has been completed. For Custom details, for those of you who are in the compliance team or handle that piece of the business, that information, as long as you're searched by the Customs entry number, Customs details are available online for up to 5 years, okay? So if for some reason, Customs decides to conduct an audit to your company, and you need a copy of a 7501, your document retention program for some reason is not able to produce that, or you need some sort of details related to Customs, you will still be able to see that online even 5 years after the entry was filed, okay? So transportation data only 120 days. Customs details, Customs data, Customs documentation, up to 5 years, okay? All right. Good. Okay. So now let's go into the actual tool. Let me switch this to our browser here. All right. I'm going to turn off my camera just so that I can focus on the monitor next to me. All right. So we're going to start off with a couple of things. This is our home page for EXP.O NOW. We're going to start off with this banner right at the top of the screen. Anytime you want to go back to the home page, you click the red portion of it, and it will take you to this view right here. Then we have other applications that have already been released in the new version of EXP.O. So we have our quoting tool -- online quoting tool. Be on the lookout because we will probably be hosting another webinar, where we will go into the other applications that are available here already. So we will be covering that in another session. So we have an online quoting tool that allows you to get rates for air shipments up to 1,500 kilos. We have our options for booking. We have the beta version already available here for air. We have the option for you to go into our old EXP.O booking platform, which is still live and still up and running. And then for those of you that benefit from our order management services, you can also go into OMB straight from EXP.O NOW. Okay. Then we have our tracking portal, and then we have reporting. I'll come back to reporting once we're done with our track and tracing functionality. Then over here on the right side of the screen, you're going to see your name -- your account, right, the name associated to your account. For those of you who are new to EXP.O and have -- and only signed up to this, you'll be able to see if you have full access or not, if the word guest is next to your name. What guest means is that you won't will be able to track shipments, but you will only see basic details on every single shipment on there. You will not see this; you will not be able to run reports or anything like that. So it's super important that if the word "guest" is next to your name, that you contact your local representative to get full access. When we click on this little icon next to it, the little question mark, you're going to have a few options for support. The first one would be, "If you want to go back to our old website, you can easily click here, and it will take you back to that." You can contact our support team, our helpdesk. If you have any questions, you can click on help overlay, and it's going to briefly explain each of the sections and the home page. And then the last one, here, the last option is the help documentation. Everything that you're going to see during this presentation can also be found through this link. It has screenshots, step-by-step on how to run reports, how to tract shipments, what each of the tabs mean in the shipment page, all of that stuff, including information for the other applications, can be found here as well. This is going to be a really good link or site to reference, if you have any questions. But of course, you can always contact us. All right. So going back to our home page. The first thing here is our tracking functionality. So like I said before, 120 days for transportation data, 5 years for Customs details. If you're looking for Customs details specifically, then you are able to switch this search option from shipments to declarations. However, when you do this, you have to enter the declaration number, including dashes, the full number of that entry, okay? When you search for shipments, you have an option of searching using more than one type of reference. What do I mean by that? It can be a shipment number. It could be a container number. It could be PO number. Whenever we transition the business when we are awarded your business, we typically ask, "What references are important to you? Is it a PO? Is it a sales order? A project number perhaps?" And the reason why we ask is because if we are provided with those details in the documents or in the booking request, we can build that into the file, into the shipment in our system, so that those references that are important to you become traceable references, okay? So that means you'll be able to pull -- plug the name here and track your shipments using that. It is also useful when we include a PO or a commercial invoice number because then we can report off of that as well, okay? So you have more than one option to track a shipment, other than just the house bill, other than just the container number. Okay. Moving on. We have these 2 panels on our homepage as well. The first one is called shipment by status. If you notice, there's a little icon next to it. If you click on it, it's going to give you a brief description, just like the help overlay, of what each category means and what the time frame is for the shipments that are being captured in each of these boxes, okay? On time, delayed, completed and canceled. So let me click back. And now we see these numbers. For example, we have over 1,000 shipments on time, and we have 6 shipments that are late. This means that our operations team has identified some sort of incident or situation that is preventing these 6 shipments from arriving or being delivered at the time that it was expected, okay? Something is preventing us from moving forward as we planned. So we mark our shipments on our side as late, right, as delayed, and then that's going to trigger those shipments to show up here. And then we have shipments completed. So if you notice, it doesn't say, "Shipments delivered." Again, because we don't always -- we are not always hired to deliver all the way to the door. Sometimes we turn over those shipments once they arrive to the port or maybe you guys have someone else come and pick those up for you. Then the next panel is the shipments by location. Location doesn't necessarily mean physical location from a GPS standpoint; it means in the life of that shipment. So it will always start with a booking request, whether we're talking about air, we're talking about ocean or we're talking about domestic transportation. There will be a booking request that will be sent to us either via EDI, through our website or via e-mail, or maybe even over the phone. We will receive that booking request. We'll work on finding space with our carriers, before we send the driver to pick it up. Anything that happens before the shipment is confirmed on board, the vessel, the airplane or the truck will be found here. Anything after that, we'll move on to this next category. Now it's set to be in transit. Once it arrives to the port of destination or first port upon landing, then those shipments will move on to this category, and then jump over to completed eventually, all right? So let's click on one of these just to show you some of the details that you can get out of these views. So the first one -- well, I clicked on shipments in transit. The first thing that I want to show you here is the level of detail that you see on the screen. We have the primary reference first, so that is the PO that we were provided with on the documentation. Due to space challenges, we can only list one of the POs. So if there's a shipment that includes more than one order on the commercial invoice, we will include the first one here. You'll have visibility to the rest of them in the shipment page, but you'll see the first one listed on this column. We see the house bill of lading or the tracking number for domestic, origin destination, shipper consignee. If I scroll a little bit more, we see status, when it was confirmed on board and estimated time of arrival. Now let's assume that we do have 231 shipments right here. That's a lot. But maybe your team of 5 is divided by where the freight is going to, right? Maybe you only manage the freight that goes to Norfolk. You can type in Norfolk right here, and the list will update to just show you the stuff that has Norfolk as the destination or maybe the origin. So it will look up for anywhere here where the word Norfolk can be found. You can do the same thing with a PO reference or an Expeditors reference number. Let's say that I only remember that the shipment that I'm looking for ended in 7 9 H D. So I'm going to type in 7 9 H D, and there we go. I only have the last 4 digits or characters of that bill of lading number, and I was able to find it. Okay. Another thing that we added, we didn't have this feature, for example, on the old version of our website, is the fact that you can track from anywhere. Almost every single screen with an EXP.O NOW will have the search option somewhere on there, so that you don't have to go back to our homepage to actually track a shipment, okay? All right. So let's go back to our homepage to show you a couple more things. Right below that, we have this map. So one of our goals is to complete -- obviously, to continue to improve on the business functionality on our website, tracking and tracing purposes. And we actually went out to a group of customers to get feedback on what needed to change, what needed to be added and all of that. One of the main things that customers came back with was we want to have some sort of visual within a map of the shipments that are active or where their shipping is located. So we listen to our customers' feedback, and we are working on making this map what our customers want, which is have visibility to either shipments that are out there, but then also see a dot on the map that moves as the shipment progresses. So we are in the early stages of getting this done. There's a lot of work that happens behind the scenes to get that up and running, but we're actively working on it. We have kind of like the real estate area here saved for that map. So that's why you see it here. But that information is not available at this moment, but it will be later on, okay? Then over here, we have what we're working on and what you should be seeing in the next few weeks or the next couple of months. So one of the things that is coming up is Customs-related reports. At the moment, you can only run transportation type of reports off of our website. You will be able to run Customs-related reports very, very soon, probably, I would say, within the next month. Okay. All right. And then last but not least, we have our social media feed, and then we have our Expeditors newsflash, which will give you information that is important to your industry or supply chain as a whole. All right. So I'm going to save, I guess, some time for this at the end. So I'm just going to grab a shipment from here and go into the shipment page. So whenever you track a shipment, whether you have a house bill, a container number, an airway bill number or a Pro number or anything like that, this is what you're going to get. This is the shipment page, okay? This is everything related to that particular record in our system. So that shipment that we're handling for you, whether we do door-to-door services, door-to-port or port-to-port, all that information will be here, including Customs details. So let's start off with the header. We can easily identify that this is an ocean shipment. We see a little vessel here. We have the house bill of lading and the current status. This is said to be, on time, origin and destination, this has arrived and has been released by Customs. So let's assume -- this is obviously the demo environment, so this is not an actual shipment. But let's assume that this has arrived, and we're waiting for freight to be unloaded from the vessel or something like that. Arrived at final port, you'll have the date there. And then we'll have these tabs with more information on it. The first tab is the details tab. So what is the shipment about, right? So before we jump into that, we have this little time line that is meant to be a very easy way to identify where your shipment is as opposed to the full life of that shipment, right? A very easy to understand time line of which steps have already taken place, which steps have already been taken by us and what else that we need to look forward. So freight was received, estimated departure. You don't have to go into too much detail. Maybe this is all you need to know, right? It arrived. It was Customs cleared January 13. And then eventually, we're either going to turn this over to someone or we're going to deliver it to your door. Then we have actual details on the shipment. So origin, destination, company name, piece count, weight, shipper and consignee, carrier, vessel, voyage or flight. Okay. All right. Next tab is the Events tab. So every single step that we take to process your shipment will be found here. If I click on All Events, you're going to see every single thing, including notes that we might have sent you, not to clients, for example. So if I keep scrolling, as you can see, this can be very overwhelming, right? Because a lot of these things may not be as important to you as they are to us internally, but we are very transparent when it comes to that. And we want to give you as much details as possible, so that you are aware of what's going on with your shipments. So usually, at the bottom of the page, you will see something like this, like a vendor called for booking or client called for pickup, which means someone called us and said, "Here's 5 pallets. We need to ship it to this location" right? And then eventually, you will see booked, confirmed onboard, ETA, arrived, et cetera. If there's some sort of delay or for Customs-related details, if there's a Customs hold, an exam, FDA hold, anything like that, you will also be able to see that here. So it's not just transportation, it's also Customs-related milestones or events, okay? All right. Next up, we have the references tab. Like I said before, anything that is listed here is essentially a traceable reference number. Meaning, I can grab any of these container numbers. We have a distribution receipt number, but it's actually a name, house bill, Customs entry number, anything that you see here, I can use it, plug it into the search box or within our home page, and it will take me back to this particular shipment page, okay? It's just multiple ways of finding one shipment, just trying to make it easier for you guys. The next tab is the Orders tab. Now we usually have the purchase order number included in the commercial invoices that we received from you, and we grab that, and we record it in the system, so that you can track it and we can include it in reports. That is just for transportation customers. If you are an order management services customer, meaning you are benefiting from item level visibility, order level details, vendor management and all that stuff, you will be able to see the breakdown of what is included within that purchase order, right? You're going to be able to see the item details, which can also be used to track the shipment, all right? But that is only available for our order management customers. If you are only a transportation customer, you're just going to see the PO number listed here. If you have more than 1 PO in your documents, you will see them here on a list. For our ocean shipments, you will see the breakdown of all the containers under the same house bill. You'll see the seal number for each of them, container size, move type, number of packages and also the weight for each of them. For import shipments, whether we are doing the ISF on your behalf or you're using our tool to file it on your own, those details will also be found here as soon as they're linked to that house bill in that master, okay? So those template 2 items or whatever amount of details are that we need to send to Customs prior to shipment departing from origin or international freight, you'll be able to see that here. Then the next tab is a Client's tab. This is just showing us who's listed as a shipper, vendor and consignee. So the main parties involved in this transaction. Next tab, we have the Declaration tab. So for all of you interested in seeing Customs details, this tab is where you will find the Customs entry number, our broker reference file, the type of entry and other details. If I click the declaration number, it's going to take me to the declaration details page. So now we're going to focus on only Customs-related stuff, right? Declaration details tab will give us the breakdown of every single line in that 7501. Everything that we sent to Customs. We have quantity. We have the MID. We have the duty rate. We'll have the value of the goods -- the declared value over here, the country of origin for each of these lines, right? You have the HTS code, the description, country of origin and declare value for each of them, but then you can click on any of these little arrows, and it will bring you more details for each product. Right? And then you have these other options, which are pretty similar to where we were before. So let's just go to references and hit our house bill number, and we're back to where we started. The last tab in this shipment page would be the Documents tab. So documents that are going to be found here on every single shipment, are going to be commercial invoice, packing list, unrated bill of lading, Customs entry 3461, if we are doing the brokerage as well, right? But for the most part, those are the documents that you will be seeing here by default, including POD at the end when we actually deliver the freight, right? All of those documents can be downloaded into a PDF format file. There are some documents that are not available here by default to all users. For example, when we are handling your exports out of the U.S., and we file that export clearance on your behalf, those related details are in the form of a document called electronic -- export electronic information, I think. That information or that document, I should say, is only available to the shipper, all right? So we just need to make sure that whoever is requesting access for it is actually part of the company that is listed as a shipper. So we just need to put in a request for you and enable that document on here, okay? So if you are interested in getting access to that, again, contact your local representative or reach out to us and we'll make sure that you get access to those details. All right. So that's pretty much it when it comes to the shipment page. There's also space for the map here because eventually, like I said, we want to see a dot that moves as the shipment progresses through the life of that shipment, pretty similar to this time line, but actually in a map. I think it'd be a great addition to our portal. I'm more of a visual person, too. So I would love to see that as well, whether that is at a shipment level or just having showcase the activity that you currently have around the world. Okay. So the last thing that I want to show you here that I kind of skipped at the beginning of this page was these 2 options right here. So when you track a shipment, this shipment is going to show up with the house bill and the origin destination, and the word "subscribe" will be found there. So when you click on it, what that's going to do is that it's going to land on this file right here on your homepage. So you won't have to write down that number or remember that it ended in 3 0 I C. You'll be able to find it in your homepage. I'm going to show you where, in just a second. But then the other option that you have here is this little icon next to it. When I click on it, this other window pops up and this is going to allow me to set up an alert, an e-mail message that is going to go out whenever any of these milestones take place. So for example, this shipment has arrived already. So I don't want to know when it was confirmed onboard because that already happened. I want to know when it's delivered. So then I would select this option. My e-mail address is already here, but I can enter other people's e-mail address. Maybe the rest of my team also wants to be notified or maybe this is a very critical shipment. It's super, super urgent. All eyes in our company are on this one. We need to make sure that this is delivered on time. Maybe I add my boss' e-mail address or the purchasing team or the Supply Chain Director e-mail address, right? So that they too will be receiving an e-mail as soon as this takes place. These notifications, these alerts that you can set up are only going to apply to this shipment right here. On our side, in our system -- Expeditor system, we have the ability to set up ongoing alerts for any of these milestones or any other milestones. So if you are interested in receiving a notification whenever every single shipment is delivered, we can do that for you. You won't have to come in here and do it for every single one of them on your own, okay? This is more so for those super urgent, critical shipments that you need to keep an eye on, and you need to make sure that you are notified on time. Right? So let's close it out. And I said that I have subscribed to the shipment. So let's go back to our homepage. And those shipments are going to be found here under subscriptions, right? You can keep them here for as long as you want. If you want to remove these shipments from that section, you just come in here and hit unsubscribe, right? So it's going to unsubscribe in just a second. And then we're going to go back to our homepage, and this number will not be listed there anymore. I clicked too fast. Anyway. All right. So moving on to the second part of our demonstration today, this is going to be covering our reporting functionality. So we're going to click here, and let's start off with which standard reports we already have on there. So we have the containers type of reports and shipments type of reports. So you're going to say, "What is the difference between those 2 Melissa? So the difference is that this type of report is going to show you, or you'll eventually get an Excel spreadsheet, right, because you can also download it, where each role will represent a container. Whether they're all under the same house bill or not, each role will represent a container, so it will include container-level details. For example, some milestones, some events or some steps that are taken to process your shipments and your containers are at a container level, like when the particular container is unloaded from the vessel, when that container becomes available versus the rest of them under the same house bill. So there are going to be things that happen at different times, right? So the containers type of report would allow you to see that level of detail. The shipments type of report is going to keep you at a house bill of lading level, okay? So there's a difference there. If you have more than one container under the same shipment, you're going to see all of the containers in just one cell and one column, okay, versus on each role. All right. For our distribution folks, customers that use our distribution services, we have 2 type of reports available on here already. We have the receipts report and the shipping report. So everything that comes into our warehouse and everything that leaves our warehouse. We are actively working on getting the rest of the reports on here. So in the next few months, we should see them being released. So let's stick to our transportation reports, okay? Let's start off -- we're trying to create a very simple report. We're going to click on Shipments, we click the sign right here, and we're going to get these options on the left side of the screen. We have filters, columns and then the option to schedule this report. So let's start off with filters. This step rate here is a step that I need to take because I'm in the demo environment. You will not have to do this. This will already populate the name of your company. Then we have to pick a filter. The whole point of the filter is to make sure that the system understands what you're looking for. It narrows down the type of data that you're looking for, the amount of information that you want. So we can base this off of a milestone. If you click here, then you have some options as far as what are we going to use as the base for our report? Remember, I said we can do historical type of reports, current activity type of reports and we can also do exception management type of reports, right? So an example of historical report would be a report that is based on actual departure date. I want to know when this was confirmed on board, right? So we're going to choose an absolute date range, and we're going to say, "Give me everything that departed in the last month, from January 1 to February 1, okay?" Then we can also filter by origin. We can filter by destination, if we want to. This is as easy as typing in the origin city. You can do the name of the city or the port code, if you know it. I'm going to leave it blank just for the sake of this demonstration, but you can pick a specific origin or destination or more than one origin, more than one destination. Then we have Status. This is if we were trying to run a historical report, combined with an exception management type of report. If I click on it, it gives me some options to filter down even further. So let's say that we said, okay, yes, we said "Everything with a confirmed onboard date between January 1 and February 1, right?" that's what we initially selecting. But out of all those shipments that were confirmed onboard within those 30, 31 days, I only want the stuff that has arrived, but hasn't been released. I only want to see the shipments that have been delivered or maybe I only want to see the shipments that are still in transit, right? I don't care about the stuff that was delivered because I already saw that, right? Or maybe there are pending -- too fast. Stuff that's still pending delivery, right? So this would be an exception management type of thing. We're filtering out the stuff that does not require our attention, and we're focusing on the stuff that really matters at that moment. I'm not going to select anything just to keep this very quick. We have the option to select mode of transportation. If you do both air and ocean with us, and you only want to see the ocean shipments, you can select that. And then Expeditors reference. You can enter a particular house bill if you want to see that or a few reference numbers, if you only want to see those 2 or 3 or 5 or 10 shipments. The next section over here is the columns that are going to be included in that report. By default, you're going to see these 5: origin, destination, Expeditors reference number, which is the house bill, status and then your primary reference, appeal, for example. You can add more stuff to this report by clicking this drop-down menu and just selecting stuff here that you want to add, I'm just going to click on some random options here, right? Just keep it simple. All right. And then from here, you see now we have more than just 5 columns that are going to show up on that report. If you want to rearrange these columns, it's as easy as just click and drag, right? Okay. Cool. All right. So we're down. I think this is what we want. This is what I'm looking for. I'm just going to click run now. And within a second, we have a list of shipments within that parameter that I set up. Anything that was confirmed onboard between January 1 and February 1. We have origin, destination and the rest of the columns that I included in the exact order that I wanted them, okay. All right. So let's say that this is great, but you know what, I want to make a couple more changes. Where do I go? You would click back on design report, and it will take you to that same page we were just a minute ago, where you can rearrange things or remove them, okay? And then let's say that you are good with this, you actually want to schedule this report. You want this to run every day or every week or every month. You go to schedule right here, and you get to choose how often you want this report to run, whether you want this report to also run during the weekend, what time this report should be running every day, every week or every month. And the format, and then who else should be getting a copy of this. So you can enter as many e-mail addresses as you want here. If those individuals do not have an EXP.O NOW account, let's say that you're sharing this with someone else within your organization, that's not necessarily someone who tracks shipments every day, they will get an e-mail message with a link that will prompt them to open up EXP.O NOW, okay? And then they'll be able to download their report. So once you do that, you just click on this little switch thing to schedule it and hit run again, okay? So let's go back to our page here. Okay. So whether we schedule it or not, we can also save this report. So let's say that I like these columns, but I want to come back and run it again maybe in 2 weeks, just to see if there are any other shipments that show up. What we want to do is save this as a customized report, right? Give it a name, maybe a description that will remind you why you created this report or what was the purpose of this report, and then we're going to hit save, okay? All right. So let's go back to our reports page. We're going to hit customized reports, and the report that we just created will be found right here, test webinar. I can come back in, run it again or make adjustments, make changes and save another version of it or maybe keep this one as is. Whenever you schedule reports or we schedule reports for you, those reports will be found here under report results, okay? All of the reports that are scheduled for you, whether you did them or we did that for you, will be found under this box. You have the option of receiving an e-mail when that report is ready to be downloaded. So if a report runs on Fridays at 6:00 a.m., you will receive a notification saying, "Reports so and so is ready for you to download, click here." You can also choose to receive that report directly to your inbox. So have that e-mail message include the attachment. Where do you go to change those settings? Right here, right at the bottom of this box. You see here, it says notifications. I have them off because they have a ton of reports, and I don't want an e-mail for every single one of them. But you can choose to turn either the e-mail notifications on or receive the e-mail with the attachment like I said before, okay? These settings are going to apply to all of your reports. You won't be able to pick and choose which ones you do receive via e-mail and which ones you done, okay? So this is super important that we know -- that we understand so that we get to choose whether we want to come in here and log in every day and download those reports or you want to receive them directly to your inbox, okay? All right. So going back to our homepage. The last thing that I want to show you before we go back to our presentation is how to change your settings. So if you click on that little red arrow pointing down, you hit my preferences and you will be able to change the time zone, right? This is very important for reporting scheduling, right? So those reports that you schedule are going to be based on whatever time zone you have here, but then also the events and the milestones that are listed on the shipment page. For example, if you have it on GMT and I have it in Pacific Time, we might be looking at the same shipment, but maybe for you, it's going to show up as if it was delivered yesterday. And for me, it's going to show up as if it was delivered today or the other way around, right? So it's not going to be showing inaccurate data, it's just based on the time zone for your particular account. So I would say, if you already have access to EXP.O NOW, go ahead and make sure that the time zone that's selected here is aligned with where you're located. Okay. All right. So let's go back to our presentation real quick and talk briefly about what's coming up in 2023. So like I said, this is an ongoing project. Let me turn on my video. This is an ongoing project that we've been very excited and very focused on completing. It's making sure that all of the functionality that we had in our old website gets migrated to the new one. We're making improvements to all of these things, adding pieces of functionality, adding features are going to be super helpful for you. So these are some of the things that are already there. 100% of our tracking and tracing portal is already migrated into EXP.O NOW. When it comes to reports, transportation, like I said, is up there already. Customs will be coming soon, I would say, within the next month, and then OM and all of the distribution reports will be coming along right after. When it comes to booking, you are able to use our new version of the booking tool for only air. We are already working on ocean and domestic. For quoting, same thing, we have the option of creating quotes online for shipments, for air shipments up to 1,500 kilos. Ocean and domestic will follow along. Our Expo analytics platform that was available or is still available in our old website, we'll be migrating to EXP.O NOW. We got a sneak peak of what that's going to look like, and it's going to be great. So we will see that later on this year. And then one application that has completely migrated is our order management booking system. All of that is already in EXP.O NOW with the new view, the new visuals, the new look of EXP.O NOW. So you are able to use that already. So a lot of things are happening this year, when it comes to our customer-facing tools. We're very excited. We're always open to getting your feedback when it comes to anything that we're missing or anything that should be a certain way. So feel free to share that feedback with your local representative or reaching out to us, and we'll make sure that we get those messages to the right team. We have made a lot of changes based on what we hear from our customers. And ultimately, that's the goal, that we create something that is actually going to impact your operations in a positive way. Okay. All right. So let's move on. We have about 8 minutes for questions. I see there are quite a few.
Crystal Woods
executiveThere are several. So I'm going to read a couple of the first ones, and then there were some questions specifically about 100 days of -- 120 days of reporting. So let me ask these first.
Crystal Woods
executiveThe old website, will it be retired at some point?
Melissa Reyna
executiveIt will, but not anytime soon. We don't want to completely retire our website, if we don't have all of the functionality migrated to the new one. So it will be some time before we can actually shut it down completely.
Crystal Woods
executivePerfect. Is there a way to lock column headers on screens?
Melissa Reyna
executiveNo. I'm assuming you mean for the tracking and tracing views, the in-transit status panel and all that stuff? We're not able to customize those views. For that, we would have to create a report.
Crystal Woods
executivePerfect. Also, is there a way to toggle, so that when I enter EXP.O NOW for tracking, it's defaulted to EU, but USA instead?
Melissa Reyna
executiveIf that is related to the time zone, you can change that so that it shows your particular time zone. If it's related to your location, when it comes to maybe the language or anything like that, send us a quick note and we can verify that you are linked to the right, I guess, location or country. I believe there's some option for us to change that for you.
Crystal Woods
executivePerfect. There is another question on, when will EXP.O NOW include ISF?
Melissa Reyna
executiveISF tool, we are actively working on that as well. I have not seen the beta version go out because when we're releasing all these applications, what we do is that we build something, we released a beta version, we grab maybe 10 or 12 customers that are able or open and have the time to try it out for us, give us feedback. And then maybe a month later, we release it. I haven't seen the beta version for the ISF tool. So we can get back to you on that.
Crystal Woods
executiveThere were a couple of questions on reports for Customs. For brokerage reports, standard reports, are there reporting options?
Melissa Reyna
executiveNot on EXP.O NOW yet, but I can tell you that, this morning, we had a call about it, and it's going to come out sooner than we thought. I would say -- if I'm very conservative, I would say, March.
Crystal Woods
executivePerfect. Okay. So there are a few on the 120 days of data. So I'm going to go through a couple of those. For reports created by a user, can we pull transportation data greater than 120 days?
Melissa Reyna
executiveThe answer is no. So the website only holds 120 days' worth of transportation data for both tracking and reporting. So for example, a year-to-date report in July would only show you the last 3 months. But for all of those requests, we can run the data for you and schedule something that runs daily with year-to-date details.
Crystal Woods
executivePerfect. So I think that answers another one that I asked about, how can we do shipment analysis if the info disappears after 120 days? So it sounds like we would just...
Melissa Reyna
executiveYes. And then that's what Expo Analytics is intended to do. So our tracking and tracing portal is more of a tactical tool that is meant to be used on your day-to-day and all that stuff. But then the new version of analytics that we're working on is going to do exactly that. It's going to allow you to look back at what happened in a very long period of time, 2 years plus year-to-date almost and analyze those trends, understand what happened, so that you can make changes within your supply chain. So for a more strategic views, we would still stick to reporting and dashboard to know that stuff. But for a more tactical need, Expo track and trace is what the goal is.
Crystal Woods
executivePerfect. What is the time expectation for the Customs module?
Melissa Reyna
executiveCustoms reporting is what I'm assuming they mean? That would be the beginning of March.
Crystal Woods
executivePerfect. Is there a way to set up a subscribe button for future shipments to e-mail all port destination arrivals?
Melissa Reyna
executiveWe can do that for our customers. So in our system, we're able to set up ongoing alerts for every single shipment, so that they don't have to come in here and do it on every single one of them.
Crystal Woods
executivePerfect. There's a few about Customs, which I'm pretty sure that we answered. Does EXP.O NOW measure KPIs?
Melissa Reyna
executiveNo. That would be something that we provide to our customers in the form of reporting, Power BI dashboards or maybe even during our QBRs.
Crystal Woods
executivePerfect. FTZ entries stored in Expo for 120 days when filing for duty drawback, we have 5 years from the date of entry to file? How do we get further access, I believe?
Melissa Reyna
executiveThey would have to reach out to us. We don't delete anything on our side. So anything past those 5 years, we can produce for them.
Crystal Woods
executivePerfect. I think these have been answered. [indiscernible] be a second, type in any new ones that they have. I think that is most of them. There are a few that are on here that we will reach out -- we can reach out to you directly following the webinar, and touch base with those specific ones.
Melissa Reyna
executiveOkay.
Crystal Woods
executiveSo I think we're going to finish with that piece. We'll just tell everybody, thank you so much again for attending. Yes, you will get a copy of the presentation. Following the webinar, you'll get an e-mail from myself, with a quick survey, which just a few questions on it. We'd love to get your feedback. We can also answer any further questions you have that we might not have been able to address on this webinar, and we'll reach out to you directly. There'll also be a link to the recording of the webinar, if you want to go back and look at some of the reports and demo that Melissa has done for us as well. There's also details on our upcoming webinars, ways to sign up and get further information. There's a way also to get information about Horizon Brief, which is a way to subscribe to some information to get further updates and being to know on what's going on either in the market or your local market or also other details that are coming up on webinars. So with that, we will give everybody a minute back in their time -- in their day, and we'll close it out. Thank you so much, Melissa, for spending your time with us today and presenting to everybody.
Melissa Reyna
executiveThank you, everyone. Bye-bye.
Crystal Woods
executiveThanks. Bye.
