Thank you, Gabe, and good afternoon, everyone. After delivering record revenue and profitability in 2022, we are continuing to build on this momentum with a record pipeline of opportunities in '23. FLYHT's strong competitive posture has placed us in an excellent position to benefit from the ongoing robust demand for our legacy solutions and the serving interest in our new and innovative 5G products. I've never been more optimistic about our current state and future opportunities. Starting off 2023, FLYHT is in a solid position, both strategically and financially. Over the past 2 years, FLYHT has transformed into an actionable intelligence provider, which is not only a significant competitive differentiator for our company and is also the key to driving fast revenues meaningfully higher. FLYHT 's flagship product, the FS-228 has a proven track record with over 4,000 aircraft utilizing the Iridium's.com solution. Sales of the AFIRS 228 remains strong, accounting for a significant portion of our SaaS growth. Additionally, Transport Canada recently granted FLYHT a supplemental [ Indiscernible] certificate to install the AFIRS 228 on the Boeing 727 MAX 8 aircraft. This STC update creates additional growth potential for us. Airlines can now request that their new aircraft come off the factory line with Iridium fathom provisions, and this STC allows for updates to those provisions to accommodate FLYHT's [indiscernible]. The commercialization of FLYHT's 5G-enabled wireless quick access recorder, the AFSG, is making significant progress as we recently received DO-160 environmental certification dates. The certification means of the AFIRS is now ready for installation on commercial aircraft, and we are in the process of obtaining STCs for the product on multiple aircraft platforms. FLYHT's approach is to target the A320 and the Boeing 727 fleet for our initial STCs, and we have several opportunities to work with airline partners during the aircraft installations. As further into our [indiscernible] Edge miles builds, we have released production orders and expect to receive our first production [indiscernible] throughout the summer. We are continuing to make contact with new prospects through different conferences and sales meetings. This week, FLYHT was -- had a significant presence at the AMC, the aviation maintenance Conference in Denver, and we continue to make preparations for and look forward to hosting the AWC, IATA, EFB Users Conference in Calgary later in June. As a consequence of the aforementioned opportunities, our pipeline of potential business has increased more than 10% quarter-over-quarter, reaching an all-time high. This pipeline is expected to continue growing due to the recovery of global passenger traffic and increasing demand for our innovative solutions. We've spoken a lot about FLYHT's opportunity to meet the industry's needs as 2G and 3G network sunset around the world in the coming years. It's undoubtedly the biggest opportunity for our company system. But there's another opportunity that is increasingly becoming real for us and that is weather. There's a growing need for new solutions to meet net 0 commitments for airlines and to provide government private industries with enhanced weather data. FLYHT has unique assets in this area is building solutions that leverage our technology. FLYHT WDS 2 water vapor sensor system in conjunction with either an AFIRS Edge or an AFIRS 228 is becoming an increasingly valuable tool for aircraft-based observations particularly in relation to weather forecasting models and aviation operations. Discussions continue with U.K. net and we believe this will act as a catalyst for other government-based weather agencies to engage with FLYHT on similar aircraft-based observation programs. FLYHT delivered solid Q1 2023 results despite a 5% year-over-year revenue decrease, which was largely due to last year's large licensing orders not repeating this year in Q1. Our gross margins remained robust at 57%, and our cash balance increased by over $500,000 to $3.2 million as we collected on the large OEM order filled in 2022. In closing, I look forward to working closely with our new Chairman, Captain Mary McMillan and the rest of our Board of Directors, including our new members, [indiscernible]. I would also like to thank former Board members Nina Johnson and Jack Olcott for their guidance and unwavering commitment to FLYHT over the years. I'd now like to turn the call over to Alana for a review of our financial performance.

Alana Forbes

executive
#23

Thank you, Kent. I will begin by reviewing our first quarter 2020 results, then we'll discuss key operating metrics. While we experienced a decline in revenue and an EBITDA loss of over $1 million, it is important to note that we are continuing to invest in our future growth opportunities. We are making strategic investments to position ourselves ahead of what we believe is the biggest opportunity in our company to the street. We remain focused on ensuring that we have the necessary capital to support our organic growth strategy, which is critical to our long-term success. We are confident in our ability to execute on our plans and create value for our shareholders over the long term. FLYHT delivered total revenue of $4.8 million in Q1 of 2023. This was a $200,000 decline from $5 million in Q1 of 2022, when we had a very strong quarter of licensing revenues totaling $1.1 million in zone. Licensing revenue has been lumpy each quarter since the beginning of that revenue source. So overall, we are pleased that we were able to offset most of this with strong growth in our recurring SaaS business. SaaS revenue increased 44% to $2.4 million in Q1 of 2023 over Q1 2020. The addition of cross-consent staff revenues and post pandemic recovery of the customer -- our customer base contributed to this increase. Hardware revenue decreased 16% to $1.8 million in Q1 2023 over Q1 2020 at a total of 32 installation kits were shipped this past quarter compared to 34% in the quarter prior. Licensing revenue, as I mentioned previously, decreased by $1.1 million to just $9,000 in Q1 due to decreases in the number of modems and associated license fees ordered for derived compared with peds. Technical Services revenue increased 407% to $560,000 this past quarter compared to Q1 2020 as a result of the addition of cross-consent services to this even category. In terms of profitability, we reported a strong quarter of margins with Q1 2020 gross margin of 57.3%, increasing 260 basis points year-over-year compared to 54.7% reported for the same period last year. This year-over-year increase in gross margin was driven primarily by our selling SaaS revenue, which represented 51% of revenues from Q1 2023 compared to 33% last year's Q1. SaaS is one of our higher margin revenue sources, carrying gross margins in excess of 60%. We recognized an EBITDA loss of $1.2 million compared to $940,000 containable in the same period last year, representing a negative variance of $400,000. Total operating expenses increased 10% to $4.2 million this past quarter compared to $3.9 million reported in the same period last year. This year-over-year increase was due to the addition of the cross-consent personnel resulting from our March 2022 acquisition of our business as well as incremental investments in tools and marketing made through 2022. We continue to expand our commercial team, extend our marketing reach and invest in R&D as we further enhance our actionable intelligent speed of products and AFIRS Edge. Likewise, net income was a loss of $1.7 million compared to a loss $1.3 million reported in the same period last year, representing a negative errors of [ 207 000 ]. For the quarter, we generated $950,000 in costs from operations and corrected on the large OEM order that we took bold in its entirety last year, ending the quarter with $3.2 million in cash and equivalents, representing a $550,000 increase compared to $2.6 million in Q4 of 2022. And now looking ahead, we expect continued growth in our business, driven by the ongoing recovery of the global aviation industry as well as the execution of our strategy. We expect over the coming years, Edge platform sales will drive increased hardware sales and that SaaS revenue right in all continued growth.

Alana Forbes

Moving ahead, we expect continued growth, sorry about the technical difficulties. Kent has lost both, I believe, his mic and video. So he will be joining me on my screen, and I'll pick up where I think we left off as mic cut out. We expect continued growth in our business, driven by the ongoing recovery of the global aviation industry as well as the execution of our strategy. We expect over the coming years, Edge platform sales will drive increased cargo sales and that tax revenue will likewise enjoy continued growth. A second phase of fast growth should occur as the installed base [indiscernible] Edge platforms increases and customers recognize and accept the tremendous value of our software solutions provided to their operations. Our contracted backlog, which includes business of $19 million at the end of last quarter, gives us pretty good visibility on revenue over the 3 quarters. Additionally, our pipeline, which includes [indiscernible] contracted opportunities for our newer offerings such as the Edge increased 10% sequentially to $77 million and is the most robust, we would [indiscernible]. As we received STCs on our Edge platform, we expect our type of opportunity will continue to grow over the course of time. With that, we would like to read several questions that we received at investor.com. Thank you to those who [indiscernible].

Alana Forbes

executive
#26

The first [indiscernible] what are the differences between Edge and Edge+?

Kent Jacobs

executive
#27

And I apologize for that technical problem. The difference between Edge and Edge+. The Edge is the FLYHT [indiscernible] Edge product and the Edge+ is the BNC version. So the FLYHT product is the one that can be installed above the liner of the cabin because the frames on the aircraft can be installed in the avionics space. It's a smaller form factor, better for aircraft like midsized and large-sized turboprops and even the business jet side of things. The Edge+ is the 4MCU replacement of the primary incumbent wireless QAR product out there in the market. So that form factor is a much more standard avion product. you try to handle on the front, it would only be installed in the avionics of an aircraft. It's the simple replacement. You take the existing product out, you slide this one in with the same interfaces of the airline [indiscernible] the back, and it fits right into the aircraft in this part vacated by the competitors' product. So the difference is the form factor of the product, primarily the functions are identical. Both have a wireless IR will provide AID functionality. They've got the 5G radio. They've got the WiFi radios, they interface to the aircraft on the same day of the box. Same product, different form factor.

Alana Forbes

executive
#28

What is the difference in what we charge clients?

Kent Jacobs

executive
#29

This compares our target price is between 25,000 and 40,000 per ship set. And it will vary based on the features of the product that the customer is interested in based on the aircraft type that it's being installed room and based on the installation kits that as a result will be required. And there may be out wires, but in general, that would be the range for the main Edge products, the Edge parcel see a small increase from that range.

Alana Forbes

executive
#30

Our second set of questions start with going to expand on the [indiscernible]. Your press release implies that is now needs to be deployed, getting [indiscernible] STCs.

Kent Jacobs

executive
#31

And it's a good observation. The DO-160 certification is the environmental testing and qualification of the box. So the AFIRS Edge we've taken is put to a set of environmental test. There were -- it was shaken. It was warmed up. It was cooled down. They were MRI considerations that had to be taken into account, make sure that it wasn't we radio at. That's the environmental testing of the product. And that environmental testing will apply to any FTC that we now get. So the environmental testing has to be done once. It's done on the product, and that set of information around the successful completion of the environment testing will be incorporated into the various STCs.

Alana Forbes

executive
#32

What is your expectation on [indiscernible] approval for the Edge.

Kent Jacobs

executive
#33

Well, we already have the provisional -- the Transfer Canada provisional SEC for the A320. We are expecting next week to have the provisional STC for the Edge for the 77 MAX. What we're doing now is we have to get that product, have it installed on those types of aircraft in Canada with Canadian registered aircraft. We will then complete the insulation, complete the function testing. What happens then is we gather the information from that and we resubmit that back to Transport Canada and transport Canada will then return back to us the final activation of NCC. So we're at that stage right now where we have the provisional STCs on the A320. We're a week or 2 away -- a week away from getting it on the 737. We complete the installation. We resubmit Transport Canada. We get the activation of SEC-back.

Alana Forbes

executive
#34

And a couple of follow-up on. How long [indiscernible] would you expect first deployment.

Kent Jacobs

executive
#35

If we're talking about the -- well, once we have the aircraft selected and we know which one it's going to be -- we'll be doing the professional installation on, we get the information for that aircraft. Our engineering team has to take that absorbent into the FTC package itself. We then have access to the aircraft. We expect the initial installations to take between 4 and 5 days as we do a little bit of learning and a little bit of -- it will be a much longer time. They've been a normal installation. The first ones take longer. Then the product is active and ready to go.

Alana Forbes

executive
#36

Have you socialized with potential customers so they are ready to go once the [indiscernible].

Kent Jacobs

executive
#37

We're socializing with potential customers all the time. They are very keen for us to have these STCs completed and for us to be able to familiarize the FCC from a transport Canada into the FAA into the AA. But yes, our customers were working closely with our partners and our customers all the time to get through this save.

Alana Forbes

executive
#38

And finally, from the investor, how will you manage any capital requirements to Edge orders?

Kent Jacobs

executive
#39

This has many answers. We've been working really carefully, very diligently on making sure that our cost reserves will better serve in the long term. We have been watching -- we've got some cost constraints, a lot of cost intensities. And you'll note that we did increase our cash reserves through our Q4 and those efforts have been successful to date. And there is a large [indiscernible]. When there is a large contract that would have significant working capital requirements our default, of course, will be either of our [indiscernible] it and prepayment terms as we have done with our customers in the past. Our default is 100% upfront. And as long as we're successful there, which we have historically been, then we anticipate the contracts to cover their own working capital requirements. Okay, get everything from investors@flyht.com. So I will now turn the call back to [ Dany ] , and we will be pleased to take questions from [indiscernible].

Operator

operator
#40

[Operator Instructions] At this point, Alan, we don't have anybody with a raised hand. So perhaps you could continue with questions that have been submitted in writing and check back with me later to see if anyone has indicated they want to speak.

Alana Forbes

executive
#41

The first question in using the Q&A function, hardware sales have been growing nicely dure-year. Should we expect this to continue to grow, even excluding revenues that will come from the Edge in due course.

Unknown Executive

executive
#42

I would say, absolutely, we I think I mentioned previously in the prepared remarks that we have a contracted backlog of $19 million. And the majority of that is related to the 2 programs that we -- that has been generated at for us since 2012. Our contracted backlog is approximately half and half hardware and sales. And as our customers are taking down their aircraft for CCH, we're delivering on that contract backlog, particularly on the hardware side, so we can install and then we can start using our data [indiscernible]. We expect that to continue throughout the rest of this year and into future use. The contracted backlog is generally the own contracts that are about 5 years of length. And so the average for backlog anticipated [indiscernible].

Alana Forbes

executive
#43

Under SaaS revenues, how much of the recent figures represent revenues that come from the weather revenue stream.

Unknown Executive

executive
#44

Currently, our SaaS revenues, it's generally between 15% and 20% of our total SaaS revenues are coming from the level business.

Alana Forbes

executive
#45

How should we think about the software revenue estimates for plan. $507 have foresees in previous presentations. How are these numbers selected or rather based on what or how much channel services to this business represents.

Unknown Executive

executive
#46

[Technical Difficulty] Roughly speaking, could you get a factor a package that could create a scenario for 7 of a plane to get us a sense. So the 500 million to 700 number that in our IR presentation is what we're using to predict our anticipated SaaS revenues from the Edge products. And that 500 to 700 is based on our current experience with our 28 customers. It does range beyond that, above and below entirely dependent on what our customers are looking for and to purchase from FLYHT in terms of services. We operate on an alco basis. So our customers install the hardware in the [indiscernible] in particular. And they're able to just choose from all of the services that we offer for a different month price for each of complexity. And so when modeling for the Edge business, we believe that with the existing services that we offer plus the actionable intelligence to services, including airport and field sense programs that [indiscernible].

Alana Forbes

executive
#47

Roughly speaking, when we help to reach the target market share for Edge or 20% line.

Kent Jacobs

executive
#48

Yes, it's a great target. I think in our presentation, we talked about before, we anticipate reaching that level within budgets. So it's a 5-year target when we talked about that full addressable market and reaching 20%.

Alana Forbes

executive
#49

How will the Edge hardware be priced relative to the Q2 earnings?

Unknown Executive

executive
#50

I think we've sort of addressed that with the investors@flyht.com question. The citrate is a more expensive solution. The Edge left on partly competitive pressures partly our cost base.

Alana Forbes

executive
#51

Do you see any licensing or having licensing contracts in the backlog this year.

Unknown Executive

executive
#52

We do not so far when we received the largest PO in our history this time last year for licensing revenues. And we executed on that deal solely. We do not have another deal in our contracted backlog, we will not achieve one to date. That revenue is very lumpy. We received POs. They're not received regularly. And so we would like to canoer, we don't have once again.

Alana Forbes

executive
#53

Where is the negotiation with the U.K. net stand, financial time.

Unknown Executive

executive
#54

Negotiations continue. Dealing with a large governance organization in the host. It's a different contract process and dealing with airline customers. It's much more rigorous and it takes a lot longer. As you all know, Kent did signify their intention to purchase 30 units from FLYHT. We have not released a contract as it was based on what as I want on time, but we will definitely share that with you [indiscernible]. Roll out of the Edge be constrained by manpower for [indiscernible].

Kent Jacobs

executive
#55

We don't anticipate that. FLYHT doesn't actually do the installation on the aircraft. The airline and plant will work together to either have the airline, their maintenance people or third-party DB installations. With the 228 and even with the IFRS 220, we had several companies that we're very capable of doing those installations and it is always able to coordinate those companies with the airlines, the airlines weren't doing it on their own. So no, we do not anticipate that being made for doing the installations.

Alana Forbes

executive
#56

And a follow-up to that, on an aircraft has and maintenance opportunity was slightly net to install after SEC and [indiscernible] practically our units in the contracted backlog and what's in for 4%.

Kent Jacobs

executive
#57

Access to aircraft, if I understand the question right, it's always going to be a coordination between FLYHT and the airline to have that access to the aircraft that we -- so even when we have a contract in an airline, and we know that they're going to be putting the AFIRS or the AFIRS on the aircraft. It's a matter of knowing when the aircraft is going to be brought down when the airline can have the aircraft down is available for us for the turbines, the third party or the airline to actually do the work. So it's a scheduling and a coordination efforts between like the airline and posted party doing inside. Progress penetrating in the larger airlines.

Alana Forbes

executive
#58

Are you seeing much progress in associating with [indiscernible].

Kent Jacobs

executive
#59

With the growth of our sales team and kind of the stature that FLYHT achieved by bringing in people who would have been on an expert and have such a wonderful recognition that is in the industry. FLYHT immediately started to deal with and interact with a different -- an additional category of airlines. And several multiple Tier 1 operators are now regularly in contact with FLYHT, FLYHT is in contact with them, responding to RFPs, having meetings and making plans moving forward. So yes, quite a difference with the type of airlines that FLYHT is interacting with now.

Alana Forbes

executive
#60

How do company's products differ from rivals often?

Kent Jacobs

executive
#61

Well, talk about the Edge because the AFIRS 228 stand-alone as being the premium. The absolute premium [ SATCOM system ] on the market throughout day it was released. So it's sort out that way from day 1. But the Edge has a couple of key functions, key capabilities that are different than our competition. First and foremost is the 5G capability of the Edge. Nobody else is doing a 5G cellular radio capable product. In fact, that's one of the biggest the absolute maybe advantages to the product. But the Edge is also being designed in a clever way to accommodate to be able to accommodate third-party software applications to be able to run on it and also with very easy means to update and maintain the product itself. So this application, the AFIRS is being developed with AWS technologies at the core, both on the ground and in the [indiscernible] itself, but also with the ability to remotely update the software on board the Edge product. This is something that is unique in the industry. It's been a trademark of FLYHT for many years, the ability to remotely by a satellite or via now [indiscernible], be able to update the software running on the As, and that's a fundamental difference. Also the WBS, I mean, there is no competition in the relative community sensor market. We have 2 products. We have a donor product, and we have the WBS -- if you're looking for relative humidities to add to an aircraft-based option. Right now, you're talking to FLYHT.

Thank you. Once again, if anyone would like to ask a question, please raise your hand or submit your question again in writing. I'll just pause for another moment. I don't see anyone indicating that I'd like to speak. So I'd like to hand the conference back over to Kent and Alana for any closing remarks.

Thank you [indiscernible] again. I would like to end our call with recognition of 2 events that continue to demonstrate FLYHT's continued success and increased presence in the global aviation industry. Earlier this year, FLYHT was named to the 2023 TSX Venture that recognizing our company as a top performer amongst 1,700 TSX-listed companies for superior market capitalization growth, share price appreciation and shareholder returns. And on June 20 and 22 of this year and just what cut, like will be walking hundreds of industry peers from around the world to Calgary for the semiannual AWC, IATA electronic FLYHT bag users for them. The EFB users form as a joint activity with AWC and IATA that provides the engagement opportunity for airlines, system integrators, hardware and software providers, regulators and other interested parties to present to discuss combative interest to the EFB user community. The credit, the real credit to FLYHT to attract this conference or own down in Calgary, and we're very much looking forward to the opportunity to welcome the world. So thank you for your time and your continued interest in FLYHT. We appreciate your support. Goodbye.
