attendeeLadies and gentlemen, welcome to Largo Resources Annual and Special Meeting of Shareholders. I will now turn it over to Alberto Arias.
Jesus Alberto Arias
executiveYes. I would like to welcome all of you to an Annual Meeting of Shareholders of Largo Resources. My name is Alberto Arias, Chairman of the Board of Largo Resources, and with the consent of the meeting, I will also preside as Chairman. The meeting will come to order. With the consent of the meeting, Ian Mitchell, Largo's Corporate Secretary, will act as secretary of the meeting. After taking into account recent provincial and federal guidance regarding public gatherings and social distancing due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the company has elected to hold the meeting virtually, allowing shareholders to attend and participate at the meeting. This serves to proactively protect the health and well-being of the company shareholders, management, directors and service partners, while permitting and encouraging shareholders participating at the meeting. Only registered shareholders who held shares in their name as of May 1, 2020, the record date of this meeting, of their -- or their validly appointed proxy holders are entitled to vote in this meeting. We will conduct the votes on the matter before us by a poll. On a poll, every shareholder entitled to vote on the matter has 1 vote in respect to each share entitled to be voted on the matter and held by that shareholder. The poll will be opened for all resolutions at the same time. This will allow you to choose to vote on each resolution immediately or wait until the conclusion of discussion prior to casting your vote. There will be an opportunity to ask questions in respect of business being considered at a meeting prior to closing the polls. Once discussions on all items of business have concluded, I will give you a minute to enter your votes and then declare the voting closed on all resolutions. The results of the meeting will be released later today and will be available on our website. Now I declare the polls open on all resolutions. The first item of business will be the appointment of a scrutineer to report on the holders of common shares present in person or represented by proxy and the number of common shares represented in person or by proxy at the meeting. With the permission of the meeting, I will appoint TSX Trust Company, the company's transfer agent, through its representative, Lori Winchester, to act as scrutineer and report on the holders of common shares present in person or by proxy the number of common shares represented in person or by proxy at this meeting and any adjournment thereof, to compute the votes of any poll taken at this meeting and to report their own to the Chairman. If this appointment meets your approval, I propose to move on to the notice of the meeting. If this agreement is voiced at this time with respect to the appointment of scrutineer, the Chairman will request a shareholder to submit a formal resolution and will direct a poll to be taken all in the manner set out in schedule 1 of the memorandum, outlining the procedure for ballot on poll regarding appointment of scrutineers. Scrutineers then proceed to prepare her report as to the attendance of the meeting. And there has been filed with me proof of service of the due delivery of the proxy materials accordingly. I will direct that a copy of such proof be service, be an annexed to the meetings of this meeting as scheduled and that these documents be tabled in order that any shareholder may examine same as if they so desire. I, in my view -- in view of the fact that these documents have been tabled and have given delivered to all shareholders of record, I will now ask for a motion that the reading of the notice of this meeting be dispensed with and that someone second this motion.

Following Paulo's presentation, we will open the meeting for questions. Paulo?
Paulo Misk
executiveThank you, Mr. Chairman. It's a pleasure to speak with everyone today here. Our thoughts to go out to all those affected by the virus. We would like to thank all those in the frontline who put themselves at risk to help keep us all healthy and safe while providing the essential service needed. We also like to thank our entire workforce and all of our contractors, who is committed with -- and tenacity, help to continue our operation in a safe and responsible way during this uncertain time. Thank you. [Foreign Language] We are one of the lowest-cost producers of vanadium in the world. We believe that's the way to be competitive and keep creating results. Our cash costs, operating costs, excluding royalties per pound, has been reducing year-by-year. From 2018, it was $3.38 and became $2.95 in 2019. When -- if we look at this cash cost, first quarter of 2020, it was $2.79, which is 18% decrease over the Q1 2019. When you look at the curve, the green one, as the average European price, V2O5, it's -- we can have an idea what's the -- our operational margin year by year. And at the same time, we are increasing our production, and we reached 10,577 tonnes in 2019. Next slide, please. 2019 in review, we have increased by 8% our production of V2O5 over 2018. We also have reduced 12% our unit operating cost over 2018. We have repaid off the debt, retired remaining senior security notes. In internal sales and trading, we got onboarded highly experienced and commercial team. We increased by 25% in nameplate capacity following the expansion plan, and we have a very good safety performance as well. We have 238 days without a lost time injury. Our profitability impacted by the lower vanadium price, but largely due to previous offtake agreement terms. In 2019, our vanadium sales from a contract with the customer was USD 277.3 million, which is very close to 2018. However, the remanagement of the trade receivables payables in 2019 was negative USD 137 million, which is much lower comparing to the USD 56 million positive in 2018. As a consequence, the revenues in 2019 was just USD 140 million, which is much lower than 2018. Even though this is our lower operating cost of USD 123.8 million, we got a negative net income in 2019 of USD 36 million. Although we have a very good operational performance, we are working to unlocking the full potential of our world-class assets by implementing a commercial indebtedness, focused on high-purity vanadium sales with a premium price. Also, we are implementing a vanadium V2O3 process plan. We expect it to increase high purities of vanadium sales. It should be ready by mid of 2021. We also are increasing the production at Maracás Menchen Mine in 2019 and 2020 for a further 10% increase expected for Q2 -- H2 in 2020. We are maintaining Q1 cost position, continued cost discipline going forward. We also are developing the TiO2 pigment project. The ilmenite and titanium chemical pilot plants are in progress to develop the titanium pigment. And we are doing the drilling on near-mine targets to upgrade and expand nonresources. We are not just a mining company. We are a company that helps for a greener future with a greater fuel efficiency and superior resistant in aerospace applications, with our exceptional high-grade low contaminant containing VPURE+ by reduced reduction of the entire steel supply chain carbon footprint with ferrovanadium that use the VPURE. The grid level energy storage with vanadium redox flow batteries that requires use of VPURE+ through the continuous of low impact operation at the Maracás Menchen Mine, where we produce the VPURE+ and VPURE. Thank you for attending. If you have any questions, I'm happy to answer those. Well, if we don't have any questions -- I see no further questions, thanks to everyone for joining us today. That concludes our AGM.
Jesus Alberto Arias
executiveThank you all. Bye-bye.
