Hello, everybody, Marc Edwards. I'm the CEO of Kane Biotech. Welcome to our Annual and Special Meeting of the Shareholders of Kane Biotech. I have been asked to say maybe a few words before we get everything underway. As is no surprise to anybody, we are in the middle of a global pandemic. On behalf of Kane management and Board and the entire team, I wanted to first thank and recognize the work that all of the frontline workers are doing, from the nurses to the grocery store clerks, so on and so forth. We're privileged to be able to continue to work from home and not -- and minimize the risk to our health, and we appreciate the work and effort that they've -- that they're doing. Now also because of the pandemic, this is our first AGM virtual conference call. This is a first for us here. So please bear with us as we learn to navigate through this. I have -- Ray and I are both the co-admins of this meeting today, Ray Dupuis, our CFO. I've muted everybody, and we'll unmute a few key people there that need to talk. But I will let Ray and Philip Renaud, our Chairman, take it away. And yes. So Philip Renaud and Mark Nawacki, you should be able to unmute yourself at this point. And then Georges and Sarah. Okay. So Philip, I'll let you take it away.

Sorry. Yes, Philip. The -- I've unmuted everybody. People can unmute themselves if there are any other questions or comments or -- I'd be -- we'd be happy to entertain with that regard.

Georges Morin

executive
#41

My only comment is -- this is Georges Morin. Since this was our first meeting, and we were just voted, we were very silent both Sarah and I. So I just want you to understand, it's not lack of interest. It's just that because it's our first meeting, we want to be voted in, and then we can decide to chat up.

Marc Edwards

executive
#42

And then be vocal.

Sarah Prichard

executive
#43

I'm not even sure whether we were allowed to do anything.

Marc Edwards

executive
#44

So we went through the formal process. So we're very, very happy to have Sarah rejoining the Board of Kane. Sarah has been a previous Board member and has been an adviser and a great asset to our organization. And very, very happy also to add Georges Morin to our Board of Directors. I think we already had a very solid team, but this certainly complements. I mean we're very proud of -- I'm very proud of our Board of Directors and delighted to have you joined. So welcome, and thank you very much for agreeing to join, and I look forward to working with you for the next few years, at least.

Sarah Prichard

executive
#45

Well, let me just say, Marc, that I think Kane is a very different [indiscernible]. And I think you've done an amazing job.

Marc Edwards

executive
#46

Thank you very much, Sarah. I really appreciate that. I really appreciate that. So I mean we've -- I don't have a formal presentation as we just had our yearly -- our year-end financials presentation a couple of weeks ago, and we'll have our Q1 results call, investor call, tomorrow. But just wanted to give you a general idea of what we're working on. So Kane -- so I'm -- we haven't given a future -- a forward-looking statements disclosure, and I'll try not to say anything too forward-looking. But please make sure you're aware of the forward-looking statements disclaimer. So Kane, as I hope everybody on the call knows, is a company that specializes in microbial biofilm. Microbial biofilm is basically the glue that lets bacteria attach to a surface and makes that bacteria significantly more resistant to antibiotics and antibacterials. And because it makes it more resistant to antibiotics and antibacterials, it is a major contributor to antibiotic resistance, which the World Health Organization feel is one of the main health problems that we will face going forward. Obviously, their focus is elsewhere right now. But this will be a problem going forward. And we've got a number of patents and patent families. Mainly focused on 2 right now. Our coactiv+ technology, which we formulated into our animal health products, our oral care products and our skin care, newly launched skin care products. And we've also formulated that into a shampoo and scalp detoxifier, a human shampoo and scalp detoxifier, which we have recently done a very, very successful consumer test. And secondly, the other patent we're focused on is a patent called DispersinB, which we're working on in wound care. And the more I learn about wound care and about a number of areas, but wound care specifically, it's one of the most expensive areas of human health. There's really no good solution. The number of people that end up getting amputated because of these chronic wounds is very worrisome. And we strongly believe that biofilm is one of the main culprits there. And our enzyme DispersinB, which we licensed from Rutgers University, basically does nothing else but disperse microbial biofilm. So we really feel that it will be the missing link in wound care, and very much looking forward to getting that to market. So really, as we move forward, focused on 3 areas: animal health, with a full portfolio of products; human health in 2 areas, wound care and then skin care; and all of the -- all the products we have focused around microbial biofilm. So that's the quick update. Like I said, the investor call, we had -- our year-end investor call, we had a couple of weeks ago, and we'll have our quarterly call tomorrow, an hour before today's call. So with that, I don't know if there are any other questions or comments or -- all right. So I guess nothing left but to thank the members of the Board, Ray for getting this all set up there.

Ray Dupuis

executive
#47

Yes. Thanks.

Marc Edwards

executive
#48

This was a new way of doing things there that we weren't used to, and -- but it turned out well. This is one of our better attendances to our AGM. So we'll have to make them online next year even though we might not have to. I want to congratulate Sarah and Georges again for their new nomination to the Board and thank Philip, Mark and Rivka for your ongoing support. I think we've done a lot of work this past 18 months, and look forward to what the next 18 months will bring. So that's it for me. And thank you very much, everybody, for joining. My coordinates are easy enough to find on the Kane website. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me directly.
