Thank you so much, Moya. Hello, everyone. Good morning, good afternoon, wherever you are dialing into. Really excited to have you here today to hopefully learn a little bit more or something new about how to unlock data silos with MuleSoft and AI. Of course, I'd just like to start off today's session, which -- with a little love letter from our legal team. We may be showing some future-looking slides or products or features at some point along our session today. But just a little reminder to please make all purchasing decisions based on what is already generally available. Now my name is Ben Speiser, as you can see on the slide, and I am delighted today to be joined by my colleague, Aridam. We are both in the product marketing department here at Salesforce and we both work specifically and primarily on the MuleSoft suite of products and solutions. And we are really excited to be sharing this session with you today, and Aridam will be joining us in a little bit. But to give you actually a quick taster or kind of pull check to see what we have on the menu for today. Hopefully, we're hopeful and we're confident both at the same time that we have something for everyone today, whether you're a new to MuleSoft or not, and we're also really excited to jump in and show you some product today. So Aridam, as I mentioned, will be joining us a little bit later, and he's going to share 2 demos with us today. So I'm really excited to jump into them. As Moya mentioned, we're going to have some Q&A at the end. But if you have any questions at any time, please drop into that widget, and we are going to tackle as many as possible at the end. Yes. Before we jump in, as Moya mentioned, I'd love to try and keep this as interactive as a virtual webinar can be. So a little pull check of this virtual room. Not just to get a flavor, obviously, there's no escaping the topic of AI or generative AI these days, any corner you turn you're going to bump into it. Let's just get a bit of a pull check on whoever is using it already in the organization of the company every day, they're doing a little bit, not yet, they're about to get their toes in, not to get a little pulse check in the room. So please drop in your answer here. And we will give a second just for people to drop their answers before we move on. Okay. So we not yet is slightly in front which is totally fine, and I think you're in the right place. So if you're looking to find, obviously, ways of doing it safely and securely, you're definitely in the right place. We've got something in store for you and then a little bit of, yes, every day, obviously, no surprises there, but not many -- not majority of people are using it every day, but it sounds like some of us, people are getting their toes in getting -- getting introduced to it and finding and testing and piloting one is to incorporate into our day-to-day lives. So it's really exciting to see and thank you so much. Excited to share our content today and I think, obviously, from the pool, with so many using it every day and obviously, kind of to some degree -- I don't think many of us would have thought this by last year, we'd be talking so much around generative AI or kind of AI in general. But you add how quickly that's been evolving in that space and add it to pot or to the mix with topics like automation, the sheer amount of data that we have in our world and our customers are creating every day and simply down to the number of applications and systems that are in place like organizations like yourselves across all various industries. There's no real sign of this pace of evolution and change kind of slowing down fast or slowing down anytime soon. It's pretty clear. And again, a lot of what you are here today for judging by the poll is everyone is looking for that AI strategy and how best to harness it. We're in that world now where customer expectations 60-odd percent are around expecting to scientificate their needs basically -- gone really other day is when companies and organizations can get away with those long response times or a one-size-fits-all content journey for customers or consumers and really wasting employee resources on your time consuming monotonous tasks. These AI-powered tools and, of course, automation tools are increasingly becoming the standard for achieving those faster response times, creating those more personalized and connected experiences and of course, boosted and increasing that employee productivity. It's pretty safe to say, yes, it's AI and generative AI and all that is no longer a topic we can ignore. It's time to basically embrace it and its really a prerequisite for success. Even though everyone understands that it's something that we need to grab our arms and to harness and to embrace companies and organizations are really struggling to get the value out of it and put those AI tools really some good use. Three quarter of exacts we had here, seeing that they're really struggling to deploy AI effectively and scale it across their organizations. Why is that? We're looking at topics like data limitations and quality. AI is obviously only as good as you put in. So garbage-in-garbage-out integration challenges, something we know a lot about here at MuleSoft. The average company uses so many point-to-point solutions for those 1,000-odd applications or systems that they have that many of these data sources aren't even connected and these fragmented data the fragmented data is really hard to ingest into AI models, which leads to missing contacts or poor generative recommendations. And finally, all this change, the changing landscape, this fast pace is really leading to your overhauling legacy processes or systems, it's really hard helping the employees to build the skills to harness the power of these AI-powered tools or these automation tools. It takes time, it takes months. And this, of course, extends or elongates the process times for implementing these new processes or systems. By no means, we're not saying this is an exhaustive list, of course, because of core topics like trust and security are extremely important and imperative to and, of course, are no doubt some of the reasons why many of you haven't kind of gotten into the generative AI kind of space yet. And these are topics the trust and security are definitely topics that we're going to touch on later in today's session. But without addressing those system integration challenges that we spoke about, you really risk deploying AI that results in generic data and generic insights out. And that's why we believe integration is a foundational element to a successful AI strategy among subsea, a lot of other things. At Salesforce and at specifically MuleSoft we believe the foundation for modern integration is, of course, with APIs. APIs allow you to piece together multiple systems and services to create composed applications. Say, for example, in the ones that we have on the screen, a digital experience delivered through a mobile application is obviously powered by multiple APIs, as you can see. And of course, with this surge, I think we can safe to say it's called a definitely a surge in the number of large language models. You're going to need a way of connecting all of your models and data. In a way, that's, of course, governable and manageable and, of course, will be useful to help you scale and grow over time. And the API-led approach is MuleSoft's central approach and methodology. So if you're wondering what does MuleSoft do? Well, it's pretty simple. In care, it can be, I think, summed up in those 3 kind of key bullets. We connect all your data in systems. So whether that's legacy to modern and cloud, hybrid, on-prem, wherever that resides to help power AI and, of course, automations. We empower everyone and that's IT and business teams anyone within the organization to quickly build intelligent automations across any of those systems and last by no means, please, we help effectively scale APIs and, of course, LLMs with governance to help you keep pace as you grow and scale over time. Now MuleSoft don't take our word for it. It's trusted by some of the world's leaders for integration, API management and as mentioned, automation. And thousands of our customers across all these industries are really realizing some of the true business value by utilizing and taking advantage of our platform. And for several years now, it's not just the customers, but we wire these customers embracing MuleSoft. It's because for many years, MuleSoft continues to really be a market leader in both, as we can see that the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Enterprise iPass and, of course, full life cycle API management. And this really means that we're uniquely positioned to support all the needs for integrations and APIs. Now so what is kind of under the covers of MuleSoft. And I know this slide looks overwhelming. So happy to break it down to you. And there's a little bit going on in detail. There's a little bit more around what does MuleSoft do and those 3 bullet points I mentioned a minute ago. First up, we've got that limitless integration. Now these products enable the developers, hopefully, like many of you that are on today's session to connect your technology together, adopting that APIs approach mentioned earlier. Second of all, about that powerful automation. Now these tools for the sake of time today, we're not really going to cover in too much detail, but we are going to include some resources at the end to help you learn more about them. But this, in a nutshell, is really where IT and IT and business teams going to work together to automate end-to-end business processes using low, little or no-code tools. And finally, we've got that resilient management. Of course, your IT stack has to be fully managed and governed, you are very aware of that. And this is where MuleSoft Universal API management tools come into play to really ensure that consistency and, of course, standardization across all your APIs, no matter if they're built on MuleSoft or somewhere else. And the thing that really differentiates MuleSoft from everyone else is that all this is available on that single unified platform, and it's called MuleSoft Anypoint platform. It helps you and allows you to develop securely deploy and manage complex APIs and integrations all through a single payment glass. Now we'd love to bring Aridam in here to help us and show how this all comes to life in relation to unlocking data from systems and LLMs too. So Aridam, over to you.

Thanks, Ben. Hi, everyone. I'm Aridam Kumar. As Ben mentioned, I'm a technical product marketing manager at MuleSoft. So I build demos, and I work on the more technical narratives such as the slides I'm got to show you. I'm sure you're interested in seeing not just the slideware, but also the product in real time. And so we will dig into that in just a moment here. But we would like to set the stage very well so that everyone is clear on where AI comes into the picture, the different use cases for AI and how the product leverages it as well? So let's take a look at a little bit of a diagram here that talks about how AI fits in very well with the MuleSoft story. So you can use any model that fits your needs, and you can expose it in your APIs for your organization, right, whether that's Salesforce, CodeGen or Open AI, there are many models out there, and that library of models is continuing to grow. A lot of companies are coming up with their own models, they're training them on custom data. Some models are better fitted to language manipulation. Others are better for programming and so on. So once you have the model of choice, and it's exposed via APIs, the next question becomes, well, how do I make sure that my organization can leverage this in a safe, secure, governed and controlled manner. And that's where MuleSoft's Universal API management really comes into play. It allows you to safely unlock your generative AI capabilities by basically introducing a layer of trust in your organization. And what that means is that you can use tools like our Flex gateway, which I'll demo later today. It's essentially a really powerful gateway that allows you to manage APIs not just built on Mule, but pretty much built and running anywhere in our supported gateways. So you can take advantage of custom policies that allow you to inspect prompts and even do PII data management. Nobody wants their personally identifiable information going into some third-party LLM, so you can control that using custom policies. In the future, we also hope to have out-of-the-box policies and rule sets that allow the management and governance of LLM APIs right out of the box. And once UAPI is implemented, you can rest assured that your organization is leveraging AI effectively, while still remaining secure and conformant. And once you've selected your LLM, you've secured it using universal API management, now you can start using those LLM APIs in your own automations and integrations. And so whether it's your business user that's building a flow somewhere or whether it's a developer of building an integration with some complex system and leveraging the AI component as part of it. All of that is now possible securely because the APIs that are exposed are going through a layer of protection and MuleSoft. And of course, with LLMs and AI, there is a strong need for powerful data lots and lots of data. As Ben mentioned earlier, you don't want outdated information and you don't want a very narrow set of information. You want to make sure that your AI is empowered to make the best possible decisions and give you the best results by having the most data there. So we allow the integration between many different data sources and your integrations and automation as well as your LLMs. You can train and augment your LLMs using data in a variety of different systems. And then you can also connect to those system using those automation and integration tools. So it really comes around full circle. Now I often get asked, here, we're talking about LLM APIs and how to secure them and then how to use those APIs in our integrations. But what about the AI that's actually built into the product itself. And so for that, we've recently introduced the Einstein trust layer at Salesforce. And essentially, what that means is we have a number of different products that leverage AI in different ways. Some are in beta, some are in the pilot phase and we're continuing to grow that AI offering. That is separate from you being able to use AI in your own products. So for example, if you build an integration and one of the steps in that integration calls the open API and asks it to generate a summary of an opportunity or something like that. That is you using AI in your own integrations, but you can also build that integration by asking our AI Einstein to develop those flows for you, and we're going to show you that later today. That goes to a different trust layer, that's the Einstein Trust layer. Basically, it's built for CRM-based use cases. You can go in and customize it a little bit and they're continuing to innovate there as well. So in the future, we're going to support more LLMs there as well. It does toxicity checks. It handles PII and so much more. And it's very extendable and flexible across the Salesforce clouds, including MuleSoft and a little bit beyond that as well based on your business use cases. So really, the key takeaway here is use your own LLMs, work with data sources that resonate with you. We have the tooling to make it very easy to automate with little to no code or integrate with a little bit more code and more complex integrations and all of those can use AI together. So with that, Ben, I'll pass it back over to you to drive us through this portfolio of products before we dig into the demos.

Yes. Awesome. Thank you, Aridam. Thank you so much. Now you got that overview from Aridam on how [indiscernible] like all the pieces of the puzzle are all kind of sitting in together. But we'd love just to take a couple of minutes to start breaking down that puzzle and start looking at those individual pieces that will take the picture and show you how some of them work and some of the value or the benefits that they bring. Now again, for the sake of time today, we're going to cover Limitless integration, not going to cover all these individual puzzle pieces that we see on the screen today. We're going to cover a few of them. And then Aridam, as he mentioned, it's going to walk us through a demo to break this all to life. So just this week, we launched a really exciting week care, we launched Anypoint Code Builder, which is MuleSoft's next-generation IDE for API and integration development. Anypoint Code Builder for desktop is now GA. So as I mentioned, it's been a really exciting week for us. And the cloud version is on the road map and is planned to roll out in the first half of 2024. So it's been an exciting week. Our vision for Anypoint Code Builder is to give users just like yourselves, a modern lightweight development experience through that single unified IDE. I'm sure you're asking what makes Code Builder kind of different, what makes it unique, what makes it special? Well, first, we've embraced a new modern debt environment with VS code as our back-end infrastructure. Now developers, again, hopefully, like many of you on this call, I'm sure or this webinar will have access to the entire ecosystem of VS Code extensions enabling you all to work in an environment that you're familiar with that hopefully that you want to code in and of course, has interoperability across many ecosystems and tech sacs. Not only that, we've combined the entire API and integration development experience into that single tool -- into that single pane glass. No more, again, wasting time, developers precious time, importing and exporting projects across multiple or various different environments. You're able to tackle with it from design to deployment right through that single pane of glass. So again, helping you to be more productive, more efficient and less [indiscernible]. And finally, we're bringing that power as Aridam mentioned, the power of AI to MuleSoft development. So again just like yourselves, can jump start projects without starting some scratch using natural language prompts to help generate your flows hopefully saving your hours and hours of time around development and getting you going faster. Another piece of the puzzle, I would look to spend a bit of time on is around Anypoint Exchange. And you can think about Anypoint Exchange really as a curated catalog of reusable assets. So I think APIs connectors, API specs, accelerators, automation assets much, much more. It really enables, again, of yourselves, the developers and, of course, admins out there to quickly and easily create application networks and obviously composable enterprises through the reuse. The assets and resources that can be created and discovered and shared across our entire organization. So again, you think of that IT and line of business working together. It integrates seamlessly into your work into that flow of work, which Aridam will showcase in a minute in the demo and see how easy it is. But you can really use exchange to discover and share and incorporate those assets and resources into your applications and view asset usage and engagement metrics. So in exchange, you can view and test APIs, you can simulate sending data to APIs by using the marketing service, create assets and use API notebooks to really describe and test API functions. And one of the assets available at exchange, I've mentioned earlier, is accelerators. So I would love just to highlight and put the spotlight on accelerators for a minute because they get all around that theme of getting you going and up and running faster and helping deliver faster time to value is really where accelerators fits it. In short, in a nutshell accelerators like this all on the screen for data cloud, for example, has really helped and design or is designed to really help you get up and running faster and help connect industry critical systems and data for key industry-specific use cases by prepackaging and providing prebuilt APIs and templates and reference materials to get you up and running faster. So recently, at Dreamforce, we announced that MuleSoft Accelerator for Data Cloud, which, of course, we're happy to say that is available and generally available in exchange today for again, those specific industries that you can see on the screen. So I think financial services, health care and retail, all for industry-specific use cases relevant to them, respectively. Now, Aridam, we'd love for you to come back and bring all this to life, and walk us through Anypoint Code Builder please.

Excellent. Thanks, Ben. Let me go ahead and share my screen here. And with that, we will jump in. Excellent. So here we are inside my Anypoint platform account. This is the MuleSoft homepage essentially of your organization. It's a single pane of glass that provides full visibility into your organization. As Ben mentioned, there are a lot of components, a lot of different applications that are designed to do different things, target different types of users within your organization. And in the interest of time, we couldn't possibly go through all of them today, but I do encourage you to go to the MuleSoft website, and take a look at some of our documentation, our videos and tutorials as well as some of the other webinars coming up to cover some of the other components in depth. Focusing specifically on the integration and API management pieces today, right from within here, you can see that there is the ability to design APIs and design center there's the ability to share and access reusable APIs, connectors, templates. We also have accelerators, which are prepackaged, APIs, connectors, templates and examples, targeting specific industries or specific use cases or maybe even specific Salesforce Cloud, so they really help you get started faster. And a lot of these assets are built by users like yourself and shared globally. They're also built by MuleSoft and shared to help your journey to get started on your journey easier. We also have Anypoint Studio, which was our previous IDE still out there, and I'm sure many of you have used it in the past, very powerful development environment. We have a management center that allows you to do everything from access control to the MuleSoft systems to look at your different APIs and your run time and control things there, govern your APIs, visualize or monitoring to see how your network is performing and things related to secrets and security as well. So all of that is available right inside a single view here. I'd like to bring your attention to Anypoint Code Builder right here. We can get started. That takes us into what we call Code Builder Central. And here, you can see there's a number of different things that are useful to us. So there is the ability to launch my cloud IDE right from here. If I click launch, this will open a new tab with my IDE in it. And I also have the ability to install Anypoint Code Builder for desktop. Now I want to pause here for a second and mention that Anypoint Code Builder is the next-generation IDE. It is not the same as Anypoint Studio. It is the next-generation new product that we have. In G8 on Monday, the desktop version is now available in the VS Code marketplace. You can just search for Anypoint. You'll see at Anypoint Code Builder extension pack and you can install from there. And by coming into here and clicking install, it will actually guide you through that process as well. The Anypoint Code Builder cloud IDE is an open beta, so it is available to everybody. There are some more features on desktop that are not in the cloud IDE, but for most use cases, they both work very, very well. Now this IDE has 3 different users that we like to follow. The first one, of course, is design. You can design your API specification. You can test it using a marking service. As Ben mentioned earlier, they have automatically generated documentation, and it links directly with design center and exchange, which I mentioned earlier, making it very easy to collaborate across your organization. Once you're done with the design phase of your API, you can actually take that specification and start implementing it. So right within Anypoint Code Builder, you can import the specification. It will actually scaffold it for you, meaning it will read the spec. It will determine which flows and endpoints you need and it will set up a template to help you get started on that implementation. You can then go update the specification and iteratively update that scaffolding and implementation as well. So your template always stays up to date as you make changes to your specification. And then I'll skip some of this stuff because I'll show it to you live and then the last user journey is the integration piece, which we're going to dig into today. Of course, you can connect different tools and systems together point to point. You can start via different events or schedulers and you can build, debug, just going to deploy everything all within that single view. So without further ado, I'm going to switch over to VS code. Here we are. This is VS Code on my desktop, make this a little bit bigger, so it's easier to see. And right, when you first install it, you will be brought to an experience that looks like this. Those 3 user journeys that we just talked about are available right here at the top left. So you can design your API implement and start developing the integration. It's very important that when you first come into here, you actually click on this icon at the bottom right, where in my case, you can see my demo account user name. In your case, it will say not logged into Anypoint platform and you click on that and you authenticate your desktop version with your Anypoint account and suddenly that will unlock a lot of features for you. So make sure you do that statistically too. For today, we're going to select the development integration option and that will launch a wizard that looks like this. I can simply type in a new name for my project. I can choose where I'm saving this on my machine, and I can hit create project. It takes about 30 seconds to a minute, depending on your machine, to set everything up for you. And then you'll be taken into an experience that looks something like this. I've actually loaded it ahead of time to make things easier for us. Now right within here, you can see that on the right side, I have my code editor and on the left side, I have my visual editor that allows me to add different pieces, look at my flow list, build from scratch, build subtle flow as well. And for some reason, this is not loading correctly, give me 1 second. Simple that again. For those that have AI access enabled for some reason, it looks like this is not loading for me currently right now. For those who have AI access enabled, it isn't a closed pilot right now. And so that means that you should talk to your account executive to request access to the AI flow building features here as well. And essentially, there will be a second prompt front on the left that says get started with Einstein. It will open a chat window for you, and you can simply ask Einstein to build flows for you. I was hoping to demo that today. I will see if I can upload a video later on to show that as this environment is not rendering correctly. In the interest of time, we'll move on from that one. Once you've asked the AI to build your flow and you've imported it, you will see some basic code gets imported into here or if you're wanting to start from scratch, you can just select to build a new flow. Now the environment is very customizable. So here, you can change the layout, you can move things around. If I click on add, you'll see it's actually loading the different flow structures for me that I can add here. So for example, if I want to add another flow or a sub flow, maybe some air handlers and such, I can do all of that right from within here. And if I'm ready to start adding my different connectors, I can simply hit plus within the view port here select core processors, whether it's a batch integration I'm working on, whether there are different scopes, maybe I want to define different variables and payloads things that, as a developer, you're probably fairly familiar with, they're all available to you in a visual experience here. But if you choose to code directly, you also have the option to do that on the right. As you build things out here, you'll see that the [indiscernible] product is on its own. So for example, let's suppose I would like to add the Salesforce Connector. So I went and I selected my different connectors. Now I can see from the Salesforce Connector, there are a number of different steps within here. So in my case, maybe I just want to search for something or query something or in this case, every time an object is modified or created, I want to kick off this integration flow. So I'll select on new object. It will drop in that Salesforce action for me. And on the right, you're going to see it actually did update that code as well. I can continue to do that with different types of flow controls. Maybe I have a choice option. Now I want to have different types of works in my flow here that I want to go ahead and add some more, maybe a database query and so on. So I can go ahead and continue adding those different pieces, and it will construct this for me. On the right here, I can also go in and I can configure the access credentials for each of these connectors, and I can take a look at any errors, if there are any. I can also test my different connections and so on. One more really powerful feature of ACB in addition to being a familiar VS Code experience, the dual view, the AI. We also have code snippets. And so what that means is you can predefine little snippets of code that can be reused across different projects. And so you'll see here, in addition to the core processors and different connectors have the ability to access snippets, whether they're user-defined or built in. And in this case, maybe I want to make a database query, and I don't want to manually have to configure everything related to that. So as you can see here, it has added in this database [Technical Difficulty].

Technology has stepped in and decided to cut this demo short. I can see Aridam has been kicked out of the webinar for some reason. So while we bring Aridam back, we might maybe just, and might just forward through some of the slides. And when Aridam comes back, we can see if we can pick up the demo again and take off where we left off. But basically, what was Aridam showing obviously Anypoint Code Builder, again, all fits in within that limitless integration bucket. As you can see, who's bringing in connectors from Studio and obviously, were accelerators and all those prebuilt APIs and packages and templates and specs are available to, again, obviously, help make your lives easier as developers can help you get up and running faster. What we were going to show after that was basically jumping to that resilient management section or kind of portion of our overall portfolio. Again, as I mentioned at the start, we're not really looking at the automation suite of tools today, just because it would be simply too much information but we will have a link to a recent webinar that shows you how our automation tools and obviously, AI are helping fuel automate and business processes. So we'll be sure to include that link at the end, but really around the resilient management and is -- obviously, let me see where our universal API management suite of tools kind of comes in, and we're going to be looking to demonstrate and showcase the Flex Gateway element of how you can use the Flex Gateway tool to really govern, manage and secure not only your APIs for systems and integration, but also for your large language models as well. Got it. Got it. Okay. Well, why don't you finish with these slides there, and then I'll show the Anypoint Flex Gateway demo. I think we were almost at the end of the Code Builder demo. The only piece that I think you might have missed if I dropped off at that point was not only can you add snippets and connectors from the list available within Anypoint Code Builder, but you can also directly connect that with Anypoint Exchange, and you can import a variety of different connectors from exchange, whether it's Slack and Workday, Twilio, there's a lot of options out there. And so that really makes it easy to develop on that platform.

Well, I was just getting into -- we just kind of looked at the suite of say, universal API management specific tools that are under that resilient management [indiscernible] kind of bucket or in that bucket. I was just trying to say that you were planning on showing us how Anypoint Flex gateway can obviously be used to not only govern, manage, secure those integration APIs, but also for the large language models as well. So maybe I might hand it over to you to jump into the demo of that.

Yes, certainly. So let's do it. Let me try sharing screen again, and apologies that I fell off in the middle. Let's try that again. Okay. Looks like it's working now. So here we are inside the Anypoint platform homepage again, earlier, we saw Anypoint Code Builder, which we had launched from any Anypoint Code Builder central, here if you want to see it in the cloud or visual studio for desktop [indiscernible] to get code for desktop, if you want to use the desktop version. Once you've implemented your APIs and you've deployed them to a location of your choice, whether that's in the cloud with CloudHub, using the CloudHub is MuleSoft's hosted runtime environment on AWS or if you're deploying it on your own virtual machines or your [Technical Difficulty] metal computers in your office. Once you're done with that, you want to manage it and make sure that there are security policies implemented as well. So Flex Gateway, as Ben just mentioned, is part of the universal API management offering that we have, which includes a number of different pieces here. I'll click into API manager for now. And essentially, what that allows you to do is look across your different APIs and apply policies set up service level agreements, provide access to different users, maybe you have customers that are paying for access to the API. You can configure all of that right from within our ATM management offering. So in this case, let's suppose that there was an API running on a system that we don't have within MuleSoft, like a Linux server somewhere. You can simply go into API manager. Add a new API, you can select Flex gateway. And you'll notice I don't have any gateways right now. So it says add a gateway, they'll open that in a new tab for me. And right within here, it will guide me through the process to add any of these gateways where my APIs may be running. And that's really powerful because now not only can you manage and govern your Mule APIs, but pretty much any API running anywhere can be managed from this platform. They might be wondering, what do I mean by manage. So let me jump into a different account, where we have a really interesting demo configured specifically to show how different APIs can be managed on this platform. So again, I'll go back into API manager in this account. And here, we have a lot more APIs that are deployed you'll see that there's like a vendor API, or shipping API, maybe you're running promotions. You have some loyalty system in place for your customers. And one of the APIs here is Open AI. Right? So again, going back to this idea of connecting to your LLM APIs and exposing those to your company in a secure and controlled manner. So by clicking on any API and API manager, and this was connected through Flex Gateway, again, it's running on the Open AI gateway, not within Mule, but we can still manage and control of it. So you can see that the API is currently active. A lot of different information about the API. We can also see some charts and graphs about the different errors, the response time, any policy violations over time.

Okay, where were we? So as I was saying, you can click on the API and API Manager and see a lot of metrics and information about it. Along the left you will also that we have alerts that you can configure for that particular API, again very powerful, imagine if you depend on an API that's not your own, it's running somewhere else, using somebody else's API and your integrations and system depends on it. You can actually configure alerts for those as well. So the system lets you know, "Hey, your service is fine, but something you rely on is not working right now. And that way, you have a much broader vision of overview of your entire platform. Of course, a lot of other configurations available here. I'll click into policies here. And here, you can really see that without having to code, I can actually add custom policies to secure my API in different ways, whether I want to enforce the client ID being provided when the API is called, whether I want to have HTTP cashing or spike control and here you can see, we also have some custom policies as mentioned earlier, that are actually governing this LLM. And so here, you can see that an API key must be provided every time to access this LLM API. And we also have a policy that's been applied to detect any personally identifiable information. Let's suppose somebody accidentally puts a credit card into the request to the Open AI LLM. This will actually block it and say, "Hey, credit card number was detected. That request is not authorized, so you've been blocked from accessing the LLM in that case. And they're really just safeguards your company across the board. So of course, we can get into a lot more detail here. Just yesterday, we did launch a new demo online. It's called Connect and govern your LLM APIs using MuleSoft API Management. So just go ahead onto the MuleSoft website under API management. You will see that live. One of my colleagues has recorded that. And that will dig a lot deeper into how you can use universal API management to really securely implement AI at your company.

As we mentioned, just a couple of, I suppose, takeaways or kind of resources for you to walk away with and hopefully kind of delve a bit deeper into after today's session. We'll be coming to Q&A in a minute. We just want to talk to these 3 assets on the screen. So first is the white paper on the left. This is a brand new asset again bringing together the whole MuleSoft and AI story. So whether that's how MuleSoft has bring in all that third-party data that we talked about to help enrich and increase the relevancy and the increase in context provided for AI or Gen AI pumps, I'd say with like Einstein, for example, all the way to how MuleSoft is incorporating AI into our tools to help build integrations and automations faster, like Aridam is showing in any point co-builder. So really tell us that full story around the MuleSoft and AI topic. In the middle, I guess, you saw Anypoint Code Builder, if you're kind of wondering and kind of keen to get started or eager to learn more, I encourage you to check out the free trial sign up, log in. Absolutely. I see one here. There is a question that says, how is this related to Data Cloud, particularly the Anypoint Platform and Flex Gateway? How can you use that to manage and take advantage of data? Excellent question. Essentially, we have hundreds of different connectors to different data sources. And so you can really bring all of your data from different places into Salesforce into the data cloud, and then you can run analytics on it. You can use that to make effective decisions. You can use that to trace your customer across their journey. And then you can also leverage the data in data cloud as part of your integrations and your AI implementations as well. So it's really powerful because of all the different connectors and whether your APIs are running on some other tool and you want to use Flex Gateway to connect with it or whether they're Mule APIs within the Anypoint platform, we can connect to all of them and pull data right out of there. I see another one here. Can we talk about what Code Builder does, that Studio doesn't? Great question. As we are continuing to innovate with Anypoint Code Builder, you will start seeing more and more capabilities that bring it to feature parity and beyond with Anypoint Studio. Studio was a desktop IDE only, and it was a Java, eclipsed-based IDE that you have to download and install on your machine. Anypoint Code Builder is an extension pack built on top of visual studio code. So it makes it very easy to develop, where developers are already working using different extensions and all kinds of features that visuals code comes with, and we just blend the MuleSoft experience right into that. So it's a very unique experience. We've also like I said, we have a closed pilot right now of the AI flow generation capability. I wasn't able to show that today due to some technical difficulties, but that is available to access through talking to your account executive, getting access to the closed pilot as well as you can see some demos of that on our website as well. So that's another unique element. And then, of course, we have both the desktop and the cloud version. So that dual experience is really unique to Code Builder as well. Let's see here. If someone is just starting to learn MuleSoft, should they start with Anypoint Studio or just dive right into Anypoint Code Builder. Now that Anypoint Code Builder is generally available as of Monday, I would say that is the new and improved experience. It's an AI-enabled cloud-based IDE in this familiar experience. So I would say it's okay to start right with Anypoint Code Builder. You will find a lot more resources in our documentation in our website for Anypoint Studio. And the reason is because that IDE has been around for years. So obviously, we've had a lot more time to build different demos and experiences. A lot of that can also be applied to the experience in Anypoint Code Builder. So if you're okay with starting with a new tool that is slowly going to become a lot more powerful and just kind of looking at the old demos and trying to implement those in the new tool, it should be pretty easy to do, so I would recommend that, but just be aware that some of the resources on our website may still be catered to Anypoint Studio. Another question here. Do we need Flex Gateway to add an external API? Yes. So if the API is being brought into MuleSoft, meaning that you have the RAML or OAS spec and you want to build the implementation and deploy it to Cloud Hub, that you can do without Flex Gateway. That's directly within Anypoint platform and leverages API manager. But if your API is already running somewhere else, such as Linux and all those different systems that I pulled up a moment ago, that will require Flex Gateway to connect to. What will be the future of Anypoint Studio and with Anypoint Code Build to replace it? We have no plans to end-of-life Anypoint Studio yet. We are continuing to support both, and they are both very unique in their own way, very powerful IDEs. Eventually, at some point in the future, the plan is that Anypoint Code Builder will become this very powerful complete tool that will supersede Anypoint Studio. But we don't have any plans for that yet. So feel free to continue using both. There's no need to panic and try and move to the new one right away, if you're not ready, take your time with it. Let's see. How powerful is Cloud IDE versus the desktop IDE, how do they compare in terms of interim capability. At the moment, they are pretty much at feature parity except the AI capabilities are only in the desktop version. The desktop version is GA. The cloud version is an open beta, which means that you may continue to see a little bit more development on the desktop version and the cloud version will take a little bit longer to catch up. But at the moment, they are pretty much feature parity except if you're enrolled in that closed beta for the AI trial. Is GitHub copilot required for desktop version of cloud builder? I think you mean Anypoint Code Builder. No, GitHub copilot is not required. That is a completely different tool. Our AI capability is provided by MuleSoft. It's called Einstein. It's part of a broader sales force AI ecosystem, and that is separate from GitHub Copilot. You have copilot for those that don't know, is an AI assistant system that helps you write code with NBS code. We are doing the same thing, but specific to MuleSoft flows inside the MuleSoft development environment. Are there any existing tutorials for Anypoint Code Builder? Great question. Yes, there are. If you go to Mulesoft.com and navigate to our tutorials website, you should find a number of different tutorials on there. And you can also scan this white paper and free trial QR codes on the screen to be taken to a lot more resources to help you get started. And in fact, when you first open Anypoint Code Builder for each of the developer journeys, there is a corresponding tutorial that's linked right within there. Right on the home page of Anypoint Code Builder, you'll see a link to each of those. Lastly, how can we add Anypoint Code Builder to Anypoint Studio? They are completely different development environments, Anypoint Code Builders built on Visual Studio Code. Anypoint Studio is a previous generation Java eclipse-based ID on your machine. So they are not the same. If you wish to use Anypoint Code Builder, please sign into your Point platform account and click on get started under the Anypoint Code Builder option.
